Manajemen Turnaround adalah sebuah proses untuk membawa sebuah perusahaan dari situasi poor performance menuju situasi baru good sustained performance. (Bibeault, 1982). Manajemen turnaround dikatakan sukses apabila perusahaan dapat melewati penurunan kinerja yang mengancam selama periode beberapa tahun dan berbalik mencapai laba secara berkesinambungan. BPR Ceper terletak di Jalan Raya Jogja – Solo Besole Klaten yang sempat merugi selama beberapa waktu dan hampir dilikuidasi namun dalam waktu yang relatif singkat dapat berbalik menjadi BPR yang memiliki permodalan yang kuat serta kinerja yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi strategi manajemen BPR Ceper dalam melakukan turnaround dan mengukur keberhasilan strategi tersebut menggunakan indikator yang ditentukan dalam peraturan perbankan oleh Bank Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen perusahaan berhasil merubah kinerja perusahaan dari buruk menjadi baik dan berkelanjutan. Keberhasilan BPR Ceper dalam bertransformasi dari BPR kecil yang terus merugi menjadi BPR dengan kinerja yang baik tak lepas dari keberhasilan manajemen menjalankan strategi turnaround.

Turnaround management is a process to bring poor performance company to good sustained performance company. (Bibeault, 1982). Turnaround management is succesful when the company managed to get through decline phase that threaten company existence for over the years to be good sustained profitable company. BPR Ceper is located at Jalan Raya Jogja – Solo Besole Klaten established at 1990. The company has been at loss and facing financial distress for over years, however in relatively short time the company turn into company with strong capital with good performance. This study aims to evaluate the company management strategy in implementing turnaround strategy and measuring the result of the strategy using the indicators that set by Bank Indonesia. The result of this study indicates that the company management successfully changed the company from poor to be good sustained performance company. The successful turnaround of BPR Ceper transforms from small BPR that suffered loss for years to be BPR with excellent performance is the result of management in implementing the strategy
