Indonesia pada saat ini masih dihadapkan pada persolan dalam dunia riset dan industri yang berupa perbedaan kebutuan industri dengan hasil inovasi yang berhasil dikembangkan. Maka dari itu dibutuhkannya sebuah hilirisasi dengan mengantarkan riset dari universitas untuk masuk ke sektor industri. Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada saat ini tengah menjalankan sebuah inovasi akademik yang bertujuan untuk hilirisasi riset menuju sektor industri atau yang lebih dikenal dengan istilah teaching industry. Namun proses sosialisasi mengenai inovasi ini dirasa masih kurang. Mengetahui hal tersebut, maka dibuatlah video dokumenter untuk membantu sosialisasi mengenai inovasi tersebut. Pada video dokumenter ini diperlihatkan illustrasi tentang teaching industry yang ditunjang dengan animasi 2 Dimensi (motion graphic). Video dokumenter ini menjelaskan mengenai konsep dasar pengembangan teaching industry yang ada di Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada. Pembuatan motion graphic ini menggunakan software Adobe After Effect 2015. Dengan dipadukannya video dokumenter ini dengan animasi 2D maka dapat menambah antusias penonton serta dapat berkontribusi dalam proses sosialisasi mengenai inovasi akademik teacing industry tersebut.

Indonesia is currently still faced with research and industry issues in the form of differences in industrial needs with the results of innovations that have been successfully developed. Therefore, a downstream program is needed by delivering research from the university to enter the industrial sector. The Vocational College of Universitas Gadjah Mada is currently carrying out an academic innovation which aims to downstream research towards the industrial sector or better known as teaching industry. But the process of socialization regarding this innovation is still lacking. Knowing this, a documentary video was made to help socialize the innovation. In this documentary video illustration will be shown about teaching industry supported by 2 Dimensional animation (motion graphic). This documentary video will explain the basic concepts of developing teaching industry in the Vocational College of Universitas Gadjah Mada. The making of motion graphic uses Adobe After Effect 2015 software. By combining this documentary video with 2D animation, can add to the enthusiasm of the audience and can contribute to the socialization process of academic innovation in teaching industry.
