UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN GABATUN MINAS-SIQANI DALAM ANTOLOGI CERPEN ULBATUN MINAS-SAFIHI KARYA IHSAN ABDUL QUDDUS: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL

Penelitian ini membahas unsur-unsur intrinsik yang terdapat pada cerpen Gabatun minas-Siqani dalam antologi cerpen Ulbatun minas-Safihi karya Ihsan Abdul Quddus. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori struktural, sedangkan metodenya adalah metode analisis struktural. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam cerpen ini adalah unsur-unsur intrinsik yang ada dalam cerpen dan keterkaitan antarunsurnya. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dibahas yaitu fakta cerita yang meliputi karakter, alur, dan latar, tema, serta sarana cerita yang meliputi judul dan sudut padang. Dengan demikian, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui unsur-unsur intrinsik dan keterkaitan antarunsur yang terdapat di dalam cerpen Gabatun minas-Siqani. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tokoh utama dalam cerpen ini adalah si Aku, seorang laki-laki ideal yang melakukan satu kesalahan lalu mencari pembenaran terhadap kesalahannya. Si Aku bekerja sebagai pengacara di kantor ayahnya. Si Aku memiliki sifat ideal dan tidak setia. Berdasarkan cara menampilkan perwatakannya, tokoh si Aku merupakan tokoh bulat karena mengalami perubahan watak. Adapun tokoh tambahan dalam cerpen ini adalah Neven dan Samihah Hanem. Alur cerpen ini adalah alur lurus atau alur progresif. Latar tempat dalam cerpen ini adalah Iskandaria; rumah si Aku, kantor si Aku, rumah Samihah Hanem, sebuah restoran dan rumah sakit Bahaman. Latar waktu dalam cerpen ini adalah pada pagi, sore, dan malam hari. Terdapat beberapa latar waktu tipikal, yaitu jam sembilan malam, jam setengah sepuluh, dan selama enam bulan. Tema pada cerpen ini adalah sesuatu yang ideal harus dipertahankan dengan teguh supaya tidak merugikan diri sendiri. Judul dalam cerpen ini mengacu pada tema, yaitu saat si Aku mempertahankan keidealannya dengan mencari-cari kesalahan orang lain. Cerpen ini diceritakan dengan sudut pandang orang pertama-utama. Hubungan antarunsur yang ditemukan yaitu tema dengan tokoh utama, tema dengan alur cerita, serta tema dengan judul. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang terdapat dalam cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan antara satu dengan lainnya sehingga terbangun satu kesatuan makna yang utuh.

This study discusses the intrinsic elements of the short story Gabatun minas-Siqani in the short story anthology Ulbatun minas-Safihi written by Ihsan Abdul Quddus. The theory used in this study is a structural theory. The method used in this study is a method of structural analysis. The problems discussed in this short story is intrinsic elements that are contained in the short story and its relations. The intrinsic elements discussed consist of the facts of story that include characters and characterizations, plot, and setting, the theme, and the literary devices that include title and point of view. The purpose of this study is to determine the intrinsic elements and the relations between those elements of short story Gabatun minas-Siqani. The study concluded that the main character in this short story is I'am, an idealistic man who committed a mistake then sought the justification for his mistake. He works as a lawyer in his father's office. The I'am have an idealistic and unfaithful nature. Based on how to display the characterization, the character of the I'am is a round figure because he experienced many changes in character. The additional characters in this short story is Neven and Samihah Hanem. The plot of this short story is straight or progressive. The place setting in this short story is in Alexandria; the house of I'am, the office of I'am, the house of Samihah, a restaurant and a Bahaman hospital. The time setting in this short story is in the morning, afternoon, and evening. There are only a few typical time setting: one o'clock at noon, nine o'clock at night, half past ten, for six months. The theme of this short story is that the ideality of things must be held firmly in order not to harm oneself. The title of this short story refers to the climax when I'am see calfs that collide under a dining table which forms the forest of the calf. This short story is written with main first-person perspective. As for the interrelations of the elements found in the theme related to main character and plot and the theme to title. Each of the intrinsic elements contained in this story has relation to one another that establish a unity of intact meaning.
