Codemarker adalah suatu alat yang digunakan untuk memberikan tanda berupa kode atau simbol pada barang tertentu agar suatu benda dapat teridentifikasi secara tepat berdasar kode maupun simbol yang tertulis. Material yang telah ditandai melalui proses marking akan memiliki kode yang seragam dan terstandar berdasarkan ukuran dan format codemarker yang telah ditentukan. Metode sortir yang dilakukan oleh operator memiliki beberapa kelemahan ketelitian sehingga menyebabkan material mengalami salah jalur. Oleh karena itu kode yang tertulis dari alat codemarker memiliki keseragaman sehingga memudahkan operator untuk meneliti dan mencocokkan spesifikasi material yang akan dipindah. Pada metode sebelumnya proses pengkodean identitas material dilakukan dengan cara melabeli setiap gulungan dengan selembar kertas berisi identitas spesifikasi sidewall. Dengan karakter penulisan dan tidak seragamnya kode identitas yang tercantum pada material mengakibatkan operator sering kali kehilangan konsentrasi dan memindahkan material sidewall tidak pada line yang seharusnya. Desain yang dirancang guna mempermudah operator dalam pengkodean identitas material disesuaikan dengan bentuk geometri mesin extrude dan karakter material yang akan diberi kode identitas. Dalam proses perancangan desain diperhitungkan kebutuhan pabrik dan material bahan yang tersedia sehingga banyak pertimbangan dari pembimbing di lapangan. Dengan menyesuaikan dan menerima penjelasan dari pembimbing di lapangan diharapkan perancangan codemarker ini dapat digunakan secara efektif dalam membantu proses produksi. Codemarker yang dirancang pada line produksi extrude sidewall memiliki kegunaan sebagai pemberi identitas secara otomatis pada material sidewall dan memberikan kode yang seragam sehingga memudahkan operator untuk mencocokkan material yang akan diteruskan pada line produksi selanjutnya. �

Codemarker is a tool that is used to provide a sign in the form of a code or symbol on a particular item so that an object can be correctly identified based on a written code or symbol. Materials that have been marked through the marking process will have uniform and standardized codes based on the size and format of the specified codemarker. Sorting methods carried out by operators have several weaknesses of accuracy that cause the material to experience misalignment. Therefore the written code of the codemarker tool has uniformity making it easier for the operator to research and match the specifications of the material to be moved. In the previous method, the process of coding material identity is done by labeling each roll with a piece of paper containing the identity of the sidewall specification. With the writing character and the non-uniform identity code listed on the material, the operator often loses concentration and moves the sidewall material not on the proper line. The design is designed to make it easier for the operator to encode material identity in accordance with the extrude machine geometry and the character of the material to be given an identity code. In the design process, design is taken into account the needs of the factory and available material materials so that a lot of consideration from the supervisor in the field. By adjusting and receiving explanations from the supervisor in the field it is hoped that the design of this codemarker can be used effectively in assisting the production process. Codemarkers that are designed on extrude sidewall production lines have automatic identification as a sidewall material and provide a uniform code making it easier for operators to match the material to be forwarded on the next production line.
