Tugas Akhir ini berjudul Respon Pemuda Korea Selatan Terhadap Wajib Militer Korea Selatan. Tujuan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab menurunnya minat pemuda korea selatan untuk mengikuti aajib militer, serta mengetahui tindakan pemerintah untuk menghadapi turunnya minat pemuda korea selatan mengikuti wajib militer. Penyusunan Tugas Akhir ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk mendapatkan hasil penelitian, dilakukan pengumpulan data-data menggunakan studi pustaka dengan merujuk kepada artikel, buku, internet, dan berita-berita yang relevan untuk mendapatkan data yang valid. Setelah itu, dicari yang penurunan minat pemuda korea selatan mengikuti wajib militer. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan dari faktor penyebab minat pemuda Korea Selatan menurun setiap tahunnya, Penyebab turunnya minat pemuda Korea Selatan untuk mengikuti wajib militer ini karena sadarnya akan hak asasi dan demokrasi. Alasan yang lain yaitu kehidupan militer yang sulit, karena adanya bullying. Waktu wajib militer yang panjang juga membuat mereka malas, sehinga mereka berfikir bahwa wajib militer membuang waktu di masa muda. Namun dengan penurunan minat pemuda mengikuti wajib militer pemerintah selalu bertindak untuk membangun semangat pemuda Korea Selatan yaitu dengan menaikkan gaji tentara, memperpendek waktu wajib militer, dan masih banyak yang dilakukan seiring berjalannya waktu.

This Final Assigment is entitled South Korea's Youth Interest in Participating in Military Service Decreased The purpose of this final assigment is to find out the causes of the decline in the interest of South Korean youth to participate in military service, as well as to find out the government's actions to deal with the declining interest of South Korean youth to take part in military service. This Final Assigment Preparation uses qualitative descriptive research method. To get the results of the research, data collection was carried out using literature study by referring to articles, books, internet, and relevant news to obtain valid data. After that, it was sought a decrease in the interest of South Korean youth to take part in military service. This study yields conclusions from the factors that cause South Korea's youth interest to decline every year, Factor decreases the interest of South Korean youth to take part in this military service because of their awareness of human rights and democracy. Another reason is difficult military life, because of bullying. Long military compulsory time also makes them lazy, so they think that compulsory military service wastes time in youth. But with the decline in youth interest in participating in the military service, the government always acts to build the enthusiasm of the South Korean youth by increasing the salaries of the army, shortening the time for compulsory military service, and much more to be done over time.
