Perancangan Meja Multifungsi Proses Mould Repair Dengan Metode Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD) Di PT Suryaraya Rubberindo Industries

PT. Suryaraya Rubberindo Industries (PT. SRI) merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang memproduksi ban sepeda motor di Indonesia. Dalam proses produksinya, PT. SRI sangat bergantung dengan cetakan (mould) yang digunakan. Cetakan ban harus dalam keadaan baik ketika digunakan dalam proses produksi. Jika tidak, maka akan mempengaruhi kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Oleh karena itu PT. SRI mempunyai bagian tersendiri untuk menjaga keadaan cetakan ban agar selalu baik dan siap untuk digunakan. Bagian tersebut adalah proses mould repair. Dari hasil observasi awal stasiun kerja dalam area mould repair masih belum memenuhi asas ergonomi sehingga mengakibatkan beberapa keluhan yang dirasakan oleh pekerja. Yaitu keluhan kelelahan dan keluhan muskuloskeletal. Atas dasar hal tersebut maka perlu dilakukan perancangan ulang terhadap desain meja stasiun kerja yang digunakan. Perancangan ulang desain meja stasiun kerja ini menggunakan metode Ergonomic Fuction Deployment (EFD). Metode ini digunakan untuk mendapatkan desain produk meja multifungsi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna yang nyaman untuk digunakan. Agar desain produk sesuai dengan dimensi tubuh pengguna, dilakukan perhitungan data antropometri dalam proses perancangannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kenyamanan terhadap desain meja stasiun kerja yang baru. Dari hasil kuesioner Nordic Body Map yang disebar menunjukan adanya penurunan tingkat keluhan muskuloskeletal yang dirasakan oleh operator proses mould repair di PT. SRI.

PT. Suryaraya Rubberindo Industries (PT SRI) is one of the motorcycle tire companies in Indonesia. In production process, PT. SRI relies heavily on the molds used. The tire mold should be in good condition when be applied in the production process. If not, then it will affect the quality of the resulting product. Therefore PT. SRI has its own section to keep the tire molding state in order to always be good and ready to use. The section is the mold repair process . The initial observations results of repair mold still not meet the ergonomic principles. It is resulting some complaints that felt by workers. It is fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints. It is necessary to redesign the design of the work station table. The work station table redesigning using Ergonomic Fuction Deployment (EFD) method. This method is used to get a multifunctional table product design that suits the user's need and it is comfortable to use. In order to design the product in accordance with the user's body dimension, anthropometric data will be calculated. The result is an increase of comfort to the new work station design. The questionnaires distributed Nordic Body Map shows a decrease in the level of musculoskeletal complaints, it felt by the operator of the mold repair process.
