ANALISIS PROBLEM AFTER MARKET REM GETAR PADA MOBIL MULTI-PURPOSE VEHICLE DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN DIAGRAM FISHBONE

Perkembangan dunia otomotif yang sangat pesat khususnya untuk kendaraan jenis Multi-Purpose Vehicle atau MPV yang memiliki jumlah pasar terbesar, menuntut industri otomotif untuk selalu menjaga kualitas demi kepuasan dan kenyamanan konsumen. Rem getar merupakan salah satu problem kualitas yang tengah dihadapi oleh industri otomotif pada saat ini, sehingga perlu dilakukan tindakan pencegahan atau langkah perbaikan untuk mengatasi problem tersebut. Penelitian ini hanya dilakukan pada disc rotor kendaraan jenis MPV. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan identifikasi dan analisis penyebab getaran pada disc rotor dengan menggunakan diagram fishbone di Perusahaan Otomotif. Pada penelitian ini juga dilakukan usulan perbaikan untuk mengatasi problem tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian didapat bahwa penyebab utama problem rem getar yaitu faktor penemuan karat pada disc rotor di penyimpanan unit kendaraan. Karat menyebabkan run out dan perbedaan ketebalan pada disc rotor menjadi tidak sesuai standar, sehingga menyebabkan problem rem getar. Perbaikan yang diusulkan yaitu memberikan cover plastik di velg mobil pada penyimpanan unit kendaraan. Dari hasil evaluasi perbaikan didapat bahwa perbaikan yang diberikan dapat menurunkan klaim rem getar, yaitu dari 90 problem (Desember 2017 sampai Februari 2018) menjadi 37 problem (Maret sampai Juli 2018).

The rapid development of the automotive world, especially for Multi-Purpose Vehicle or MPV type vehicles that have the largest number of markets, requires the automotive industry to always maintain quality for the satisfaction and convenience of consumers. Brake judder is one of the problems faced by automotive industry at this time, so need to take preventive action or remedial measures to overcome the problem. This research is only done on MPV type vehicle disc rotor. This research identifies and analyzes the cause of vibration on disc rotor by using fishbone diagram in Automotive Company. In this study also made suggestions for improvement to anticipate the problem. From the results of the study found that the main cause of brake judder factor is the discovery of rust in vehicle storage unit. The rust causes run out and thickness variant of disc rotor is not standardized, so causing the brake judder problem. The proposed improvement is to provide a plastic cover on the rim of the car in vehicle storage unit. From the results of the improvement evaluation, it was found that the improvements given can reduce brake judder claims from 90 problems (December 2017 to February 2018) to 37 problems (March to July 2018).
