ANALISIS WACANA HUMOR DALAM ACARA STAND-UP COMEDY LOUIS CK CHEWED UP

Chewed up adalah pertunjukan langsung stand up comedy yang dilakukan oleh comedian Louis C.K. Acara ini digelar di Berklee Performance Center, Boston pada tanggal 1 Maret 2008. Pembahasan implementasi humor dalam stand-up comedy ini dihasilkan dari bermacam-macam aspek linguistik seperti struktur wacana humor, pemanfaatan aspek pragmatik dan aspek kebahasaan serta fungsi humor dalam stand-up comedy. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang membahas empat rumusan masalah yaitu struktur wacana humor, pemanfaatan aspek pragmatik serta aspek kebahasaan dan fungsi humor dari acara stand up comedy Chewed Up. Peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan cara mengamati lalu membuat catatan pada proses klasifikasi data. Kemudian pada tahap selanjutnya peneliti akan menganalisis data sesuai metode deskriptif dan hasil analisis akan disajikan secara deskriptif melalui kalimat atau kata-kata. Penelitian ini menemukan berbagai macam struktur materi stand-up comedy yang terbagi atas pendahuluan dan punchline serta berbagai macam tipe wacana lelucon stand up comedy yang berbentuk one liner, act out, call back, comparison. Louis CK sebagai komika acara Chewed Up juga memanfaatkan aspek pragmatik dengan cara melanggar prinsip kerjasama Grice serta melanggar prinsip kesantunan. Penggunaan aspek kebahasan juga ditemukan ketika komika menyampaikan suatu lelucon seperti onomatopoeia, hiperbola dan idiom. Terdapat beberapa fungsi humor dalam acara stand-up Comedy Chewed Up. Fungsi humor yang ditemukan terbagi menjadi tiga kategori yaitu psikologi, kekuatan dan solidaritas. Hasil penemuan ini menunjukkan penggunaan teori kelegaan dan keunggulan oleh Lois C.K ketika menyampaikan materi humornya.

Chewed up is a live show Stand-Up Comedy performed by comedian Louis C.K. The event was held at Berklee Performance Center, Boston on March 1st 2008. The discussion of humor implementation in this stand-up comedy was the result of linguistic aspects variety such as the structure of humor discourse, the utilization of pragmatic aspects and linguistic aspects and humor function in stand-up comedy. This research is a qualitative descriptive research and it discussed four main problem, first is the structure of humor discourse, second is the utilization of pragmatic and linguistic aspect and the function of humor from Chewed Up stand up comedy. Researcher collected data by observing and making notes on the process of data classification. Then in the next stage researcher analyzed the data according to descriptive method and presented the results of the analysis descriptively through sentences or words. This study found that variety of structure of material stand-up comedy which is divided into set up and punchline and various types of discourse stand up comedy in the form of one liner, act out, call back, comparison. Louis CK as the comic of Chewed Up show also utilized the pragmatic aspect by violating Grice cooperation principles and violating the principle of politeness. The use of the aspect of language was also found when comic conveyed a joke such as onomatopoeia, hyperbole and idiom. There are several functions of humor in the stand-up Comedy Chewed Up event. The function of humor found is divided into three categories: psychology, strength and solidarity. The results of this research also showed the use of the theory of relief and superior by Louis CK delivering his humor material.
