Adopsi 3D Printing di Indonesia dan Prediksi Penggunaannya pada Tahun 2030

Additive manufacturing atau yang lebih dikenal dengan 3D Printing (3DP) merupakan teknologi yang saat ini berkembang dengan pesat di berbagai negara. Teknologi ini semakin memiliki peranan penting tidak hanya dalam bisnis tapi juga kehidupan sehari-hari. Perkembangan 3DP yang semakin pesat membuat penggunaannya juga semakin luas. Penggunaan 3DP ini berbeda-beda di setiap negara tergantung dari perkembangan 3DP di negara tersebut dan kebutuhan lokal dari negara tersebut. Di samping peluang besar dari teknologi ini, masih ada ketidakpastian dan spekulasi dari masa depan 3DP. Investasi 3DP yang cukup besar membuat pelaku usaha harus tepat dalam memilih bisnis 3DP yang sesuai. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan penelitian mengenai adopsi 3DP saat ini di Indonesia dan prediksi penggunaannya ke depan. Penelitian ini melibatkan masyarakat umum, pengguna 3DP dan expert dari beberapa bidang sebagai responden. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui online dan offline baik dengan wawancara maupun kuesioner. Pengambilan data dilakukan 3 kali. Data pertama dari masyarakat umum dengan 109 responden. Data kedua merupakan data pengguna 3DP dengan 40 orang responden sedangkan data ketiga dari expert dengan responden sebanyak 15 orang. Pada tahapan prediksi penggunaan 3DP ke depan, penelitian ini menggunakan metode pairwise comparison untuk mengetahui prioritas yang dipilih oleh responden dalam memprediksi penggunaan 3DP ke depan di Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada responden masyarakat umum, 67% responden telah mengetahui mengenai 3DP, 20% responden tidak mengetahui mengenai 3DP, dan 13% mungkin mengetahui 3DP. Penggunaan 3DP di Indonesia semakin luas dalam 3 tahun terakhir. Jumlah pengguna 3DP semakin tahun semakin meningkat, peningkatan yang cukup tinggi terjadi dalam 3 tahun terakhir. Pengguna 3DP tersebar di seluruh Indonesia dengan pengguna terbanyak masih di Pulau Jawa. Jenis mesin terbanyak yang dimiliki oleh pengguna 3DP saat ini adalah FDM. Dari penelitian ini, didapatkan juga urutan prioritas prediksi penggunaan 3DP di Indonesia ke depan. Dari hasil pairwise comparison didapatkan bahwa pada sektor kesehatan, bobot prediksi tertinggi ada pada pembuatan peralatan kesehatan. Pada sektor industri, prediksi tertinggi ada pada penggunaan untuk pembuatan elektronik dan robotik sedangkan pada sektor sosiokultur, prediksi tertinggi ada pada penggunaan di bidang pendidikan. Prediksi penggunaan 3DP dengan pairwise comparison ini bergantung pada expert judgment, pada prediksi ini responden hanya meyakini bahwa prediksi ini dapat digunakan saat ini hingga tahun 2025.

Additive manufacturing, known as 3D Printing (3DP) is a technology that is currently growing rapidly in many countries. This technology increasingly gained importance not only in various fields of business, but also in the daily life. 3DP capabilities now cover various range of applications. The applications of 3DP may vary in each country depending on the country's 3DP development and local needs. Despite the great opportunities of this technology, there is uncertainties and speculation about the future of 3DP. Large investments in 3DP make entrepreneur or industries should choose the right investments. Therefore, research is needed in adoption of 3DP in Indonesia now and the prediction of its application in the future. . This study involved the society, 3DP users and experts from several fields as respondents. Data were collected through online and offline either by interviews or questionnaires. Data retrieval is done 3 times. First, data collected from the society with 109 respondents. The second data is 3DP user with 40 respondents and the third data from the expert with 15 respondents. For the prediction stage of 3DP applications in the future, this study uses pairwise comparison method to find out the priority of the 3DP usage. The results of this study indicate that in society respondents, 67% of respondents have known about 3DP, 20% of respondents do not know about 3DP, and 13% may know 3DP. The application of 3DP in Indonesia more and more in the last 3 years. The number of 3DP users is increasing every year, a considerable increase in the last 3 years. 3DP users are spread across Indonesia with the most users still on the island of Java. The most machine type that 3DP users currently have is FDM. From this research, we get also priority of 3DP usage prediction in Indonesia in the future. From the pairwise comparison results it is found that in the health sector, the highest prediction is in the fabrication of health equipment. In the industrial sector, the highest prediction is in the fabrication for electronic and robotic then in the sosioculture sector, the highest prediction is in education. This prediction with pairwise comparison method depends on the expert judgment. In this prediction, the respondents only believe that this prediction can be used now until 2025.
