Nowadays, the demand of energy to support specific apparatus such as human implant device recharging is increasing. A lot of research about Wireless Energy Transfer (WET) has been conducted. Most of them, are still using two coils for the measurement setup. However, these WET systems are unable to be used for a long distance and their dimension cannot be embedded in the human body. The energy supplies from the electromagnetic wave are excessive in nature. This availability could be beneficial for energy harvesting by utilizing the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) band communication system. In order to do that, the energy harvesting system needs a specific receiver design to store the energy in the rechargeable battery. The proposed method in this research utilizes the electromagnetic wave transmission from a transmitter to the specifically designed receiving unit at the UHF band. The results show that the proposed method is able to transmit the electromagnetic energy from a transmitter to the specifically designed receiving unit wirelessly. The maximum efficiency is 0.1% for the receiving antenna dimension of 0.34 cm^3. The proposed method is able to meet the energy necessity of an implant device with a charging time of approximately 21.61 hours for the 700 mAh rechargeable battery capacity. As our preliminary conclusion, based on our results, this proposed method can be used as a reference for the practice not only in the WET field, but also for medical and the restricted area in the electromagnetic energy harvesting case.
