ANALISA DAN PENANGGULANGAN CACAT PECAH PADA PROSES DRAWING KOMPONEN ROOF TOYOTA YARIS DI PT TOYOTA MOTOR MANUFACTURING INDONESIA

Perkembangan teknologi dalam dunia industri masa kini, kualitas produk yang dihasilkan menjadi faktor utama untuk tercapainya target perusahaan. Proses pembuatan produk dies perlu direncanakan agar proses produksi dapat terlaksana dengan lancar. Jika terdapat masalah pada kualitas harus dilakukan perbaikan atau perubahan agar target produksi dapat tercapai. Salah satu hal yang memerlukan perbaikan atau modifikasi di PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia dalam pembuatan dies adalah cacat part hasil press. Repair diperlukan karena produk not good (NG) yang berupa cacat part ditemukan saat trial produksi dies. Tujuan dari Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk menekan persentase produk NG sehingga cacat yang timbul dapat dikurangi. Repair yang dilakukan setelah menganalisa part roof Toyota Yaris adalah dengan memperbesar radius handspace dengan menggunakan gerinda tangan, memperbesar radius bead ring cushion dengan menggunakan gerinda tangan, dan memperhalus radius bead ring cushion dengan menggunakan batu gosok dan amplas. Penanggulangan tersebut bertujuan untuk mengurangi cacat pecah yang terjadi pada part hasil press. Setelah dilakukan repair, cacat yang terjadi pada part dapat dikurangi. Hasil improvement yang telah dilakukan berhasil menekan defect pecah dari 12 pcs (63,16%) menjadi o pcs (0%).

Technological developments in the industry today, the quality of the resulting product becomes the main factor to achieve the target company. Dies production process needs to be planned so that the production process can be done smoothly. If there are any problems with quality, improvements or changes should be made to achieve the production targets. One of the things that require repair or modification in PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia in making dies is a defect part of the press. Repair is necessary because the not-good product (NG) in the form of a defect part is found during the production trial dies. The purpose of this Final Project is to suppress the percentage of NG products so that defects can be reduced. Repair done after analyzing the roof part of Toyota Yaris is by enlarging the handspace radius by using hand grinding, enlarging bead ring cushion radius by hand grinding, and refining the radius bead ring cushion by using rubbing and sandpaper. The countermeasures are aimed at reducing the breakage that occurs on the part of the press. After the repai, the defect that occur on the part can be reduced. Improvement results that have been done successfully descrease the broken defect from 12 pcs (63.16%) to 0 pcs (0%).
