IDENTIFIKASI KUALITAS INFORMASI OBAT (CONSUMER MEDICATION INFORMATION) PARASETAMOL YANG DIJUAL MELALUI E-MARKETPLACE DI INDONESIA

Informasi obat yang berkualitas dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan dan keamanan pasien terhadap obat yang dibelinya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui gambaran kualitas informasi obat parasetamol yang dijual melalui e-marketplace di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non-eksperimental yang bersifat deskriptif evaluatif. Populasi adalah e-marketplace dengan kriteria inklusi situs intermediet berbahasa Indonesia, menjual obat Over The Counter (OTC) dan terdapat fitur transaksi elektronik dalam proses jual-belinya dan kriteria eksklusi alamat situs yang tidak dapat diakses, termasuk blog pribadi dan sosial media. Sampel (n=1256) diambil secara purposif dan diamati kualitas konten informasi obat (dengan instrumen Svarstad), readability informasi obat (dengan Gunning Fog Test) dan evaluasi fungsi situs (evaluation of website functionality). Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif menggunakan SPSS v16. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat enam e-marketplace yang menjual parasetamol. Persentase konten informasi yaitu 28% dari kriteria yang digunakan dengan persentase tertinggi dimiliki oleh Blibli dan Lazada sebesar 35%, yang dilanjutkan oleh Bukalapak (27%), Elevenia (26%), Tokopedia (22%) dan Shopee (21%). Rata-rata tingkat readability informasi obat adalah 17,14 (setara dengan College Graduate). Hasil evaluasi fungsi situs tidak memenuhi kriteria, karena lima dari enam situs hanya memiliki fitur bertanya pada penjual.
Online sales, one of the current trend lifestyle, makes drug distribution in Indonesia becomes difficult to control. To reduce the misuse and misunderstanding of drug information, the availability of qualified drug information can increase credibility of patient and safety of the drugs they buy online. This research aimed to find out the description of the quality drug information of paracetamol sold through e-marketplace in Indonesia. This research was a non-experimental descriptive evaluative research. The population is e-marketplaces with the inclusion criteria were Indonesian intermediate site with electronic transaction features and selling Over The Counter drugs and the exclusion criteria were inaccessible site addresses, including personal blogs and social media. The sample (n=1256) was taken purposively and observed its quality drug information content (with instrument Svarstad), readability level drug information (with Gunning Fog Test), and evaluation of website functionality. A descriptive analysis was conducted using SPSS v16. Result showed that there were six e-marketplace that sell paracetamol. The percentage of quality drug information content is 28% to the criteria evaluated, which highest percentage is owned by Blibli and Lazada by 35%, followed by Bukalapak (27%), Elevenia (26%), Tokopedia (22%) and Shopee (21%). The average of readability level was 17,14 (equivalent to College Graduate level). The evaluation of website functionally did not meet the criteria, however five of six e-marketplace websites provided an Ask a seller service.
