Latar Belakang: Penggunaan rekam medis elektronik sebagai sumber utama informasi masih jarang, namun semakin meningkat penggunaannya pada sarana pelayanan kesehatan primer di Kanada, Inggris dan Amerika. Penelitian tentang RME sudah banyak dilakukan sejak maraknya adopsi RME pada fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan, namun penelitian mengenai persepsi pasien pada penggunaan RME masih jarang dilakukan, persepsi pasien perlu diketahui untuk mengetahui kualitas pemberian pelayanan kesehatan dengan RME. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis hubungan persepsi pasien pada penggunaan rekam medis elektronik oleh dokter dengan kepuasan pasien di Klinik GMC Health Center. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey analitik pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross-sectional, melibatkan 100 pasien yang dipilih menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling di Klinik GMC Health Center. Persepsi dan kepuasan pasien diukur menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Korelasi Pearson. Hasil: Terdapat 53% pasien memiliki persepsi positif pada penggunaan rekam medis elektronik oleh dokter. Lebih dari setegah pasien (53%) merasa puas dengan penggunaan RME oleh dokter. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara persepsi pasian pada penggunaan RME oleh dokter dengan kepuasan pasien di Klinik GMC Health Center, dengan p-value = 2,942 x 10-14; nilai korelasi r = 0,6685751. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan positif antara persepsi pasien pada penggunaan rekam medis elektronik dengan kepuasan pasien di Klinik GMC Health Center.

Background: EMR still rarely used as information main source, but EMR are increasingly used in healthcare organizations in general and ambulatory settings in particular in Canada, UK and USA. Studies of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) have increased recently as increased EMRs adoption at primary health care, but few studies have explored patients' perception of EMR use, patients' perception is important to know physicians care delivered quality through the use of EMR. Objectives: To analyze the correlation between patient perception of electronic medical records using by physician and patient satisfaction at GMC Health Center Clinic. Methods: This study was analytical survey with quantitative methods and cross-sectional design, involving 100 patients selected using consecutive sampling technique in GMC Health Center Clinic. The patients' perception and satisfaction was measured using tested-questionnaire for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using Pearson Correlation Test. Result: There were 53% of patient perceptions of EMR use were positive. More than half patients (53%) were satisfied with physicians EMR use. The result shows that there is correlation between patients' perception of EMR using by physicians and patient satisfaction in GMC Health Center Clinic, with p-value = 2,942 x 10-14 and r = 0,6685751. Conclusion: There is a strong and positive correlation between patients' perception of EMR using by physicians with patient satisfaction.
