PENENTUAN JUMLAH TENAGA KERJA TEORITIS PADA PROSES PRODUKSI TEH MAHKOTA DEWA PT SALAMA NUSANTARA

PT Salama Nusantara merupakan perusahaan obat herbal yang memproduksi Teh Mahkota di Wates Kulon Progo. Pada PT Salama Nusantara seluruh proses produksi dilakukan secara manual menggunakan tenaga manusia. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada PT Salama Nusantara yaitu pengiriman barang terlambat karena target produksi tidak tercapai. Oleh sebab itu PT Salama Nusantara perlu menentukan waktu standar dan jumlah tenaga kerja yang tepat pada setiap tahapan proses produksi . Stasiun kerja pada produksi Teh Mahkota Dewa diantaranya penyangraian, pencampuran dan pengemasan. Metode yang digunakan untuk penentuan tenaga kerja yaitu studi waktu menggunakan stopwatch metode repetitive timing. Waktu standar diperoleh dari waktu siklus dan waktu normal dengan mempertimbangkan performance rating serta Allowance pekerja. Data yang diperlukan untuk menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja yaitu waktu standar tiap elemen, kapasitas produksi dan jam kerja yang tersedia. Hasil akhir yang di dapatkan yakni PT Salama Nusantara membutuhkan 6 orang tenaga kerja untuk melakukan proses produksi Teh Mahkota Dewa

PT Salama Nusantara is one of an herbal madicine company that producing a tea, called Mahkota Dewa which is located in Kulon Progo Regency. All of the production processes in PT Salama Nusantara are conventional process that using the man power. Products deliverys delay is one of the problem in PT Salama Nusantara caused by not achieving production targets. Therefore, PT Salama Nusantara needs to specify the proper standard time and the amount of labor at every steps of the production process. Mahkota Dewa Tea workstations consists of roasting, mixing, and packaging process. The amount of labour determined with time study by using stopwatch, that is called repetitive timing. The standar time is obtained from the cycle time and the normal time by considering performance rating and labors allowance. The data that needed to determine the amount of labor are standard time, production capacity, and available working hours. From that calculation PT Salama Nusantara needs 6 workers to produce Mahkota Dewa Tea.
