Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh modal intelektual terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menguji efek moderasi tata kelola korporat terhadap pengaruh modal intelektual pada kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengujian hipotesis. Regresi linier berganda digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh modal intelektual pada kinerja perusahaan, sedangkan efek moderasi diuji dengan uji beda t-tes dua sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan sampel perusahaan sektor keuangan di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2012-2016. Melalui teknik purposive sampling diperoleh 16 perusahaan dengan observasi sebanyak 80. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan modal intelektual secara siginifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Pengaruh modal intelektual terhadap kinerja pada perusahaan dengan nilai tata kelola korporat tinggi lebih kuat daripada perusahaan yang memiliki nilai tata kelola korporat rendah. Variabel kontrol yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah ukuran perusahaan, umur, dan tingkat hutang. Ukuran perusahaan dan tingkat hutang secara signifikan berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Sementara itu, umur tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan.

This study aims to examine the influence of intellectual capital on the firm performance. In addition, this study also to examine the moderating effect of corporate governance in relationship between intellectual capital and firm performance. The kind of this research is quantitative to test hypothesis. Multiple linear regression is used to test the influence of intellectual capital on firm performance, while different t-test two samples is used to test the moderation effect. This study use secondary data with sample of financial sector companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2016. Through purposive sampling technique, obtained 16 companies with 80 observations. The results show that intellectual capital has a significant positive effect on firm performance. The effect of intellectual capital on firm performance with high corporate governance values is stronger than firm with low corporate governance values. This study use firm size, age, and debt level as control variables. Firm size and debt level have a significant negative effect to firm performance. Meanwhile, age has no effect on firm performance.
