PENERAPAN PENGGUNAAN VALUE STREAM MAPPING UNTUK PENGOPTIMALAN GUDANG PENUMPUKAN DI PT. PELABUHAN TANJUNG PRIOK

Sebagai tindak lanjut atas target Rencana Kerja Manajemen (RKM) tahun 2017 dimana salah satunya adalah mengoptimalkan Gudang Penumpukan Ambon Terminal Operasi II di area PT PTP, pihak manajemen PT PTP khususnya Terminal Operasi II berencana untuk melakukan peningkatan atas ketidakoptimalan pemakaian Gudang Penumpukan Ambon. Oleh karena itu diperlukan identifikasi atas ketidakoptimalan ini diantaranya melakukan pemetaan proses pola operasi yang ada saat ini dalam hal pemanfaatan fasilitas maupun efisiensi proses pelayanan di dalam Gudang Penumpukan Ambon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Value Stream Mapping (VSM) untuk dapat menggambarkan aliran proses mulai dari kegiatan steel coil masuk ke dalam gudang sampai dengan keluar gudang. Selanjutnya adalah mengaplikasikan Value Stream Analysis Tool (VALSAT). Pengaplikasian VALSAT dipilih karena dapat mengidentifikasikan tujuh pemborosan atau ketidakefisienan yang terjadi dalam pemakaian Gudang Penumpukan Ambon dengan menggunakan tool yang tersedia secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menggunakan metode VSM ini didapatkan hasil bahwa masih ada ketidakefisienan atau waste yang ada di proses pelayanan gudang dengan waiting menduduki peringkat pertama, selanjutnya dari pengolahan yang menggunakan VALSAT peneliti menggunakan metode Process Activity Mapping (PAM) yang bertujuan untuk memetakan aktivitas secara detail. Dalam PAM peneliti mengidentifikasi aktivitas Receiving gudang sebanyak 4 aktivitas dengan dengan waktu 846 detik atau sama dengan 14 menit 6 detik dan Delivery gudang sebanyak 11 aktivitas dengan dengan waktu 1174 detik atau sama dengan 19 menit 34 detik. Penerapan analisis ini diharapkan dapat menjadikan masukan bagi perusahaan untuk mengetahui efisiensi proses pelayanan di gudang penumpukan ambon.

As the follow up of the Management Plan Work (RKM) target in 2017, which is one of them is to optimize the Ambon Warehouse of Operation Terminal II in PT PTP area, PT PTP management, especially the Operation Terminal II, plans to increase the unoptimized usage of Ambon Warehouse. Therefore, it is necessary to identify this un-optimum condition such as by mapping the existing operating pattern processes in terms of the utilization of facilities and the efficiency of service processes in Ambon Warehouse. This research employed Value Stream Mapping (VSM) method to describe the flow process from the activity of the steel coil entering warehouse to exiting the stage. The next step is to apply the Value Stream Analysis Tool (VALSAT). VALSAT application was chosen because it can identify the seven waste or inefficiencies that occur in the systematic use of the Ambon Warehouse using the available tools. The result of this research using VSM method shows that there is still inefficiency or waste in the process of warehouse service with waiting in the first rank, then from processing using VALSAT, the researcher used Process Activity Mapping (PAM) method to map the activities in detail. In PAM, the researcher identified the Receiving warehouse activities that are 4 activities with the duration of 846 seconds or equivalent to 14 minutes 6 seconds and warehouse Deliveries which are 11 activities with the duration of 1174 seconds or equal to 19 minutes 34 seconds. The implementation of this analysis is expected to be an input for the company to know the efficiency of the service process in Ambon warehouse.
