PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT MENGENAI PENGARUH INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI SUMATERA (ITERA) TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN WILAYAH DI KELURAHAN KORPRI JAYA, KECAMATAN SUKARAME, KOTA BANDARLAMPUNG

Kota Bandarlampung adalah salah satu kota di Indonesia sekaligus ibu kota dan kota terbesar di provinsi Lampung. Saat ini kota Bandar Lampung merupakan pusat jasa, perdagangan, dan perekonomian di provinsi Lampung. Perkembangan yang terjadi di Kota Bandarlampung beberapa tahun belakangan ini tidak lain disebabkan adanya peningkatan dari berbagai aspek yang terjadi di wilayah tersebut, salah satunya adalah pertumbuhan penduduk yang terjadi akibat adanya kampus baru yaitu Institut Teknologi Sumatera yang lokasinya sangat berbatasan langsung dengan Kota Bandarlampung. Wilayah yang paling mengalami dampak dari adanya kampus tersebut ialah Kelurahan Korpri Jaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengidentifikasi jenis kegiatan ekonomi baru yang ada di Kelurahan Korpri Jaya pasca adanya Institut Teknologi Sumatera 2) mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap perkembangan wilayah di Kelurahan Korpri Jaya pasca adanya Institut Teknologi Sumatera, dan selanjutnya 3) merumuskan arahan pengembangan kawasan di Kelurahan Korpri Jaya pasca adanya kampus Institut Teknologi Sumatera. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survey secara langsung di daerah kajian. Informasi mengenai perkembangan wilayah didapatkan dari responden yang terebih dahulu ditentukan berdasarkan teknik pengumpulan data Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Alat penelitian berupa kuesioner untuk memperoleh data primer di lapangan yang nantinya dilakukan analisis statistic deskriptif untuk dijadikan indikator persepsi dari masyarakat. Responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu pelaku usaha dan beberapa rumah tangga yang bertempat tinggal di Kelurahan Korpri Jaya. Teknik korelasi juga digunakan untuk melihat apakah dampak adanya Institut Teknologi Sumatera berhubungan dengan beberapa aspek yang berkembang di wilayah tersebut. Yang selanjutnya hasil dari persepsi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner tersebut akan dianalisis dengan Analytical hierarchy processes (AHP) untuk memberikan arahan kebijakan yang tepat terhadap perkembangan wilayah di Kelurahan Korpri Jaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis kegiatan ekonomi baru yang ada di Kelurahan Korpri Jaya mengalami peningkatan jumlah. Adanya Institut Teknologi Sumatera juga menghasilkan dampak terhadap beberapa aspek yang ada di wilayah tersebut seperti aspek ekonomi, sosial, dan juga fisik. Namun berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat dalam kurun waktu 3-4 tahun setelah adanya kampus tersebut belum menyebabkan dampak yang sangat signifikan terhadap beberapa aspek di wilayah tersebut. Tetapi berdasarkan hasil dari analisis AHP yang telah dilakukan prediksi arahan pengembangan yang tepat di Kelurahan Korpri Jaya ialah perdagangan dan jasa cocok untuk dikembangan di wilayah tersebut berdasarkan persepsi dari beberapa responden.

Bandar Lampung, is one of the cities in Indonesia as well as the capital and the largest city in Lampung province. Currently, Bandar Lampung is center of service, commerce, and economy in Lampung province. The development that occurred in Bandar Lampung City in recent years is due to the increase of various aspects that occur in the region, one of which is the population growth that occurs due to the new campus of the Institute of Technology Sumatra which is located very close to Bandar Lampung City. The most affected region of that Campus is Korpri Jaya Sub-district. This research was aimed to 1) to identify the type of new economic activity in Korpri Jaya Sub-district after the existence of the Institute of Technology Sumatra 2) to know the public's perception on the development of the area in Korpri Jaya Sub-district after the existence of the Institute of Technology Sumatera, and 3) to formulate the direction of the development of the area in Korpri Jaya after the existence of Institute of Technology Sumatra. The research method used is directly survey in the study area. The information on regional developments was obtained from respondents who were previously determined based on data collection techniques Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The research tool in the form of questionnaires to obtain primary data in the field which will be done descriptive statistical analysis to be used as the indicators of public's perceptions. Respondents in this study are business actors and some households who live in Korpri Jaya Sub-district. Correlation techniques are also used to see if the impact of the Institute of Technology Sumatra is related to some of the developing aspects of the region. The next result of the perception conducted by using the questionnaire will be analyzed with Analytical Hierarchy Processes (AHP) to provide appropriate policy direction to the development of the region in Korpri Jaya Sub-district. The results showed that the new type of economic activity thats occured in Korpri Jaya Sub-district has increased the number. The existence of the Institute of Technology Sumatra also has an impact on several aspects of the region such as economic, social and physical aspects. Nevertheless, based on public's perception within 3-4 years after the existence of the campus has not led to a very significant impact on several aspects in the region. However, based on the results of the AHP analysis which has been predicted the correct development direction in Korpri Jaya Sub-district is the suitable trade and services to be developed in the region based on the perception of some respondents.
