Identifikasi Produk Cacat Menggunakan Seven Tools pada Yoghurt Nasional Kemasan Botol di CV Cita Nasional Semarang

CV Cita Nasional merupakan industri yang bergerak di bidang Agroindustri yang memproduksi susu pasteurisasi dan homogenisasi dalam kemasan cup, mini pack dan pure pack, produk lainnya yaitu yoghurt dalam kemasan cup, botol dan kaleng plastik. Pengemasan merupakan proses terakhir dalam menjaga mutu produk yang dihasilkan. Produk akhir yang cacat akan menimbulkan kerugian kepada perusahaan dan ketidakpuasan konsumen. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis dan jumlah kecacatan produk Yoghurt Nasional kemasan botol dan menentukan langkah untuk mengendalikan kecacatan pada produk Yoghurt Nasional kemasan botol. Obyek yang diteliti adalah produk Yoghurt Nasional kemasan botol yang diproduksi CV Cita Nasional, Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Data kecacatan diperoleh dengan melakukan pengamatan sebanyak 12 kali pada periode 10 Juli sampai 10 Agustus 2017 pada produk Yoghurt Nasional kemasan botol. Data tersebut akan dievaluasi menggunakan metode seven tools, yaitu Checksheet untuk mengumpulkan data sehingga menjadi informasi; Stratifikasi untuk mengelompokkan suatu data agar mudah dipahami; Diagram Pareto untuk mengukur kecacatan pada sebuah proses dengan mengurutkan dari frekuensi terbesar hingga terkecil; Diagram Tebar untuk menggambarkan hubungan antara dua variabel; Peta Kendali P untuk mengetahui apakah sampel tersebut masuk atau keluar dari batas yang telah ditentukan; dan Diagram Ishikawa untuk mengetahui akar permasalahan atau faktor dominan penyebab timbulnya kecacatan produk Yoghurt Nasional kemasan botol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan metode seven tools didapat hasil berupa kecacatan kemasan penyok sebanyak 43,17%, kemasan volume kurang sebanyak 33,85%, dan kemasan label tidak rapi sebanyak 22,98%. Kecacatan terbesar pada Yoghurt Nasional kemasan botol yaitu kemasan penyok. Faktor utama penyebab terjadinya kemasan penyok yaitu mesin yang bekerja tidak optimal, SOP tidak diperbaharui secara menyeluruh, dan pekerja kurang terlatih.

CV National Cita is an industry that engaged in Agro-industry field, that produce pasteurized milk and homogenization in cup, mini pack and pure pack packaging, the other products are yoghurt in cup, plastic bottle and can. Packaging is the last process in maintaining the quality of products that are produced. The imperfect final product will cause losses to the company and consumer�s dissatisfaction. The purpose of this final project is to find out the type and number of defects in bottled packaging National Yoghurt products and to determine the step to control the damage of bottle packaging National Yoghurt product. The object of the study is a product of bottled packaging National Yoghurt that is produced by CV Cita National, Semarang, Central Java. The defect data is collected during 12 times of observation from 10st July to 10st August 2017 on the bottle packaging National Yoghurt product. The data its self will be evaluated by using seven tools method, consist of Checksheets to collect the data to become an information; Stratification to grouping data so it will become easier to understand; Pareto Diagram to measure the defect on a process by sorting from the biggest to the smallest frequency; Scatter Diagram to illustrate the relationship between two variables; Control Chart P to check whether the sample enter or exit from the predetermined limit; and Ishikawa Diagram to find out the root cause or dominant factor causing the defect of bottle packaging National Yoghurt product. Based on the analysis by using seven tools, the available result of defect dent packaging is 43,17%, less volume packaging is 33,85%, and the label is not tidy is 22,98%. The biggest defective packaging of bottle packaging National Yoghurt is dent packaging. The main factors that causes dent packaging are machine that do not work optimally, SOP that is not updated thoroughly, and less trained workers.
