ANALISIS MSDs PADA PEKERJA PENGOLAHAN KOPI BUBUK BERBASIS INTEGRASI NBM DAN OWAS

Produktivitas pekerja perlu ditunjang oleh kondisi kerja yang nyaman dan minim resiko cedera agar perusahaan tidak perlu mengeluarkan biaya tambahan untuk kompensasi sakit akibat kerja. Salah satu penyakit akibat kerja yang dapat muncul sewaktu-waktu adalah Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). Sebagai industri pengolahan kopi bubuk rumahan (home-industry) yang sedang berkembang, Kaltfood belum mengoptimalkan kondisi lingkungan kerja yang nyaman dan minim resiko cedera bagi pekerjanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui risiko MSDs dari proses produksi pengolahan kopi bubuk Kaltfood sebagai pertimbangan perbaikan fasilitas kerja. Penelitian dilakukan pada akhir pekan dan pengambilan data dilakukan pada satu waktu. Responden penelitian adalah 4 orang pekerja pada UD Kaltfood,yang merupakan home industry di Kota Palangka Raya, Kalimantan Tengah. Terdapat 10 elemen kerja pada Kaltfood yang dianalisis, diantaranya 3 elemen kerja pada stasiun kerja penyangraian, 2 elemen kerja pada stasiun kerja sortasi, dan 3 elemen kerja pada stasiun kerja penggilingan, serta 2 elemen kerja pada stasiun kerja pengemasan primer. Penilaian kesakitan akibat kerja menggunakan kuesioner Nordic Body Map (NBM). Penilaian postur kerja dan risiko MSDs menggunakan Ovako Working Analysis System (OWAS). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa postur kerja yang dilakukan oleh pekerja pada pengolahan kopi bubuk Kaltfood ini berisiko mengalami MSDs. Elemen kerja pengeluaran kopi bubuk dari mesin giling ke karung pada stasiun kerja penggilingan merupakan posisi dengan efek sangat berbahaya pada sistem muskuloskeletal (risiko sangat tinggi), sehingga tindakan korektif diperlukan sesegera mungkin. Elemen kerja yang tidak memiliki risiko MSDs adalah penyegelan kemasan primer pada stasiun kerja pengemasan primer. Resiko MSDs yang dapat dialami dari lokasi tubuh tersebut, misalnya Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) dan Low Back Pain.

Worker productivity needs to be supported by comfortable working conditions and minimal risk of injury so that the company does not need to incur additional costs for work-related compensation. One of the occupational diseases that can arise at any time is Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). As a growing home-industry coffee processing industry, Kaltfood has not optimized the conditions of a comfortable working environment and minimal risk of injury to its workers. This study aims to determine the risk of MSDs from the process of processing Kaltfood coffee processing as a consideration of the improvement of work facilities. The study was conducted at the weekend and data were taken at one time. The respondents were 4 workers at UD Kaltfood, which is home industry in Palangkaraya City, Central Kalimantan. There are 10 elements of work on Kaltfood analyzed, including 3 working elements on the roasting work station, 2 working elements on the sorting work station, and 3 working elements on the milling work station, and 2 working elements on the primary packaging work station. Assessment of work-related illness using a Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire. Rating of work postures and MSDs risk using Ovako Working Analysis System (OWAS). Based on the results of the study it is known that the work posture performed by workers on coffee processing Kaltfood powder is at risk of MSDs. The working element of removing the ground coffee from the milling machine to the sack at the milling station is positioned with very harmful effects on the musculoskeletal system (very high risk), so corrective action is required as soon as possible. A work element that has no risk of MSDs is the sealing of the primary packaging at the primary packaging work station. Risks of MSDs that can be experienced from these body locations, such as Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) and Low Back Pain.
