PROSEDUR PENANGANAN REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OLEH MICE DEPARTMENT DI DESTINATION ASIA INDONESIA (STUDI KASUS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL EV520 TEAM EXELLENCE INCENTIVE PROGRAM PETROLEUM COMPANY 2019)

Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor yang dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Indonesia lebih cepat. Industri wisata MICE yang merupakan salah satu jenis pariwisata mempunyai peluang yang sangat potensial dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat karena membawa wisatawan dalam jumlah banyak. Di Indonesia, khususnya Pulau Bali, industri wisata MICE menjadi salah satu komoditas utama yang secara terus menerus mendatangkan wisatawan. Untuk itu diperlukan perusahaan penyedia jasa pelayanan wisata MICE yang salah satunya adalah Destination Asia Indonesia. Pada penilitian ini penulis membahas tentang prosedur penanganan Request for Proposal yang merupakan awal dari perencanaan sebuah kegiatan wisata MICE di Destination Asia Indonesia dan penerapannya pada studi kasus EV520 Team Exellence Incentive Program Petroleum Company 2019. Penelitian ini bersifat penelitian kualitatif dengan metode pengambilan data dengan cara obseravasi partisipatif pada masa praktek kerja lapangan selama tiga bulan, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan disimpulkan bahwa Destination Asia Indonesia memiliki prosedur dalam menangani Request for Proposal mulai dari penerimaan Request for Proposal, penentuan account manager, penyusunan Event Proposal dan Event Qoutation hingga proses pengiriman dan penindaklanjutan proposal. Dari studi kasus yang ada juga disimpulkan bahwa setiap prosedur tidak pasti dilakukan namun tidak mengurangi kualitas layanan dari Destination Asia Indonesia.

Tourism is one of the sectors which can make Indonesia society economic sector growing faster. MICE tourism industry which is the part of tourism industry has the great potential chance in the case of incrasing the economic growth sector because MICE brings many tourists to come. In Indonesia, especially Bali Island, MICE become one of main comodity which has been constanly make many tourists come to Bali. Because of that, it needed service provider of MICE tourism and one of them is Destination Asia Indonesia. In this study the author discuss about the procedure to handle the Request of Proposal that being a first step of a MICE program planning at Destination Asia Indonesia and its application on case study EV520 Team Exellence Incentive Program Petroleum Company 2019. This research is a qualitative-oriented-research which use participant observation during the internship period as long as three months, interview, collecting documentation and litterature studies as the methods to get the main topic of the research. From the research that had been done can be concluded that Destination Asia Indonesia has a procedure to handle Request for Proposal start from recieving the Request for Proposal, compose the Event Proposal and Event Quotation, untill sending process and following up the proposal. From the case study can be concluded that not every stage of the procedure always be used for every Request for Proposal. But it is not reduce the service quality of Destination Asia Indonesia.
