Sampai saat ini, di Indonesia belum banyak marketplace yang bergelut dibidang desain grafis seperti seperti www.99designs.com, www.designs.net, www.sribu.com, dan www.kreavi.com. Sedangkan banyak orang yang membutuhkan desain untuk keperluan masing-masing, disisi lain banyak desainer yang sulit untuk mendapatkan klien. Marketplace desain yang ada sebagian besar ditentukan dari permintaan untuk pembuatan desain. Jika dilihat dari sisi desainer, mereka telah memiliki banyak karya desain yang belum dipaparkan dan dapat menarik klien yang membutuhkan jasa desain. Selain itu, jumlah karya desain yang ada lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan permintaan desain. Hanya saja belum ada wadah bagi desainer untuk memperlihatkan hasil karya mereka. Durasi waktu pengerjaan desain dan harga jasa juga perlu dipertimbangkan dengan tingkat kesulitan permintaan desain dan kualitas desainer. Dari permasalahan tersebut, perlu dibuat sistem informasi marketplace desain yang dapat digunakan untuk menampung karya desainer, pemesanan desain, negosiasi harga dan waktu, serta transaksi pembayaran jasa desain. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework Laravel, JavaScript dengan framework jQuery, web server Apache, dan MySQL sebagai pengolahan basis data. Dari sistem ini, terdapat beberapa fitur yang disediakan untuk klien, desainer, maupun admin. Fitur klien antara lain pemesanan desain, mengirim pesan ke desainer, dan favorit desainer. Untuk desainer terdapat majemen galeri, portofolio, pengajuan diri, dan negosiasi. Sedangkan admin dapat melihat statistik pemesanan desain, klien, dan desainer. Dengan adanya sistem ini dapat mewadahi desainer dan klien untuk saling berkomunikasi. Membantu untuk memberikan gambaran desain yang akan dipesan dan membantu menemukan desainer yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan bagi klien serta dapat mewadahi karya sebagai portofolio bagi desainer.

Until this present day not much of Indonesia's marketplace that involved in graphic design such as www.99designs.com, www.designs.net, www.sribu.com, dan www.kreavi.com. Though there's a lot of people, especially the designers who have a bunch of works and need a place to distribute their works, still a specific marketplace for graphic design are still rare to be found in our country. Other than that, the current marketplaces for graphic design are most likely to be determined by the request, not by the designs that were actually have been made the designers. From the designers side, they actually have many unexposed designs that actually can appeal those who need a graphic design services. Furthermore, there is a possibility that the number of the existing designs are higher than the number of request, it is just there is no tool or place to showcase the designs. The time required to create a design should also be considered, because sometimes a designer could have more than one request for a graphic design. The price of services offered also needs to be considered in accordance with the level of difficulty and quality of the design. From these problems, it is necessary to create a marketplace information system for graphic design to accommodate, order, negotiate the prices, as well as the payment for the graphic design. This system was built with the programming language PHP, and helped by Laravel framework, JavaScript with the JQuery framework, Apache webserver, and MySQL for basis data management. There are several features provided for the clients, designers and adminstrator. The features for the clients are to order design, send message for the designer, and pick a favorite designers. The features for the designers are a gallery management, designer's portofolio, submission, and negotiation. Last, administrator can only see the statistic of ordering design, clients, designers and the designs.
