Tugas Akhir Peran Guest Relation Officer Berbahasa Mandarin di Lembongan Beach Club and Resort mendeskripsikan tentang tugas Guest Relation Officer sebagai penghubung komunikasi antara pihak hotel dengan tamu asal Tiongkok menggunakan bahasa Mandarin. Tugas Akhir ini ditulis untuk mengetahui penggunaan bahasa Mandarin terhadap turis Tiongkok di Lembongan Beach Club & Resort serta untuk mengetahui hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi dalam mengaplikasikan bahasa Mandarin bagi Guest Relation Officer. Penulisan Tugas Akhir ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran Guest Relation Officer dalam sebuah hotel sangat penting, karena Guest Relation Officer berperan sebagai penghubung komunikasi antara pihak hotel dengan tamu. Kemampuan berbahasa asing, utamanya bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Mandarin serta keterampilan berkomunikasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk menjadi seorang Guest Relation Officer. Dalam mengaplikasikan bahasa Mandarin, terdapat tiga hambatan utama yang dialami oleh penulis, yaitu kecepatan berbicara tamu, perbendaharaan kosa kata dan pengucapan nada. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi lapangan, studi pustaka dan wawancara dengan beberapa karyawan Guest Relation Officer di Lembongan Beach Club & Resort.

The final project titled The Role Of Guest Relation Officer Chinese Speech at Lembongan Beach Club & Resort describes about the role of Guest Relation Officer as a communication liaisons between the hotel and Chinese guests using Chinese language. This Final Project required to know how to use Chinese language to Chinese guest and to required about obstacles applying Chinese language for Guest Relation Officer. The conclusion of this Final Project is Guest Relation Officer in hotel very important, because Guest Relation Officer as communication liaisons between the hotel and guests. Foreign language skills, especially English and Chinese is needed to become a Guest Relations Officer. In applying Chinese Language, there are have three main obstacles experienced by the author, there are speed of speaking guest, vocabulary and tone of pronunciation. The method of this research are observation method, literature review and interviewing the staff of Guest Relation Officer at Lembongan Beach Club & Resort.
