Tugas Akhir dengan judul Implementasi Internal Electronic Mailing Systems (InEMS) di KPTU Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada membahas mengenai sistem pengurusan surat dengan menggunakan aplikasi InEMS dalam mengelola surat masuk, surat keluar serta sistem penyimpanan dan temu kembali yang diterapkan pada aplikasi. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi arsip, implementasi pengurusan surat serta sarana dan prasarana pendukung maupun kendala yang dihadapi saat menggunakan aplikasi InEMS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan Tugas Akhir ini, yaitu: Observasi partisipatif, Wawancara dan Studi Pustaka. Observasi partisipatif dilakukan dengan cara mengamati, memperhatikan serta membuat catatan tentang apa yang dilihat dan terlibat secara langsung sehingga dapat mengetahui kondisi sesungguhnya dalam implementasi Internal Electronic Mailing Systems (InEMS) di KPTU Sekolah Vokasi, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Wawancara digunakan penulis untuk menguji kebenaran maupun kesesuaian data yang diperoleh dari observasi partisipatif dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap petugas pengelola dan pengguna InEMS. Studi pustaka digunakan untuk memperkuat argumen serta memperoleh data yang relevan untuk menyempurnakan pokok bahasan penulisan dengan mencari berbagai referensi buku-buku. Kesimpulan dari penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah dengan menggunakan aplikasi Internal Electronic Mailing Systems (InEMS) di KPTU Sekolah Vokasi sangat menunjang aktivitas pengurusan surat. Namun, implementasi InEMS dirasa belum optimal karena belum diberlakukannya peraturan resmi mengenai penggunaan InEMS. Penggunaan InEMS masih bersifat sukarela (voluntary) sehingga menyebabkan belum meratanya penggunaan InEMS pada seluruh elemen maupun pegawai Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada.

The final report titled Implementation of Internal Electronic Mailing Systems (InEMS) at the Auditorium of the Vocational Collage of Universitas Gadjah Mada is to discuss the maintenance of the system using an application letter (InEMS) in managing the incoming mail, outgoing mail, as well as storage and retrieval system applied in the application. The goal is to know condition of the archive, the implementation of maintenance of mail and other means supporters and obstacles encountered while using the app InEMS. The methods used in this final project are: participatory observation, interviews and Library Studies. Participatory observation is done by observing, watching and making notes about what they see and engage directly in order to know the real condition of the Internal Implementation Of Electronic Mailing systems (InEMS) at the Vocational Collage Auditorium, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The Interviews method is used to test the correctness and appropriateness of the data obtained from participant observation through interviews with management personnel and users InEMS. A literature study is used to strengthen the argument and obtain the relevant data to enhance the subject of writing by looking for various reference books. The conclusion of this final project is by using the Internal applications Electronic Mailing Systems (InEMS) at the Auditorium of the Vocational Collage, it makes the maintenance of mail in the KPTU easier. However, the implementation of InEMS have not been implemented optimally because of the legal provision in using InEMS. Because of the Use of InEMS still be voluntary ,it cause the uneven use of InEMS on all elements as well as employees of the Vocational Collage of Universitas Gadjah Mada.
