INTISARI Tugas akhir yang berjudul “Pengajaran Bahasa Mandarin Level Beginner di Center for International Laguage and Cultural Studies Universitas Islam Indonesia (Cilacs UII) Yogyakarta” ini membahas mengenai metode dan pengajaran bahasa Mandarin level beginner di Cilacs UII Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Pengajaran Bahasa Mandarin Level Beginner di Cilacs UII Yogyakarta menggunakan metode-metode yang sederhana dan bervariasi seperti metode permainan, metode lagu dan lainnya, sehingga siswa tidak mudah bosan saat mengikuti pelajaran. Meskipun ada kendala yang dihadapi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, namun Cilacs UII didukung oleh pengajar yang berpengalaman serta fasilitas yang lengkap, sehingga pelajaran dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan hasil yang dicapai maksimal. Keunggulan Cilacs lainnya adalah adanya pengajaran budaya dan sejarah Tiongkok.

ABSTRACT The final project entitled "Beginner Level Chinese Language Teaching at Center for International laguage and Cultural Studies, Islamic University of Indonesia (CILACS UII) Yogyakarta" is discuss about the methods and learning process of Chinese language for beginner level in CILACS UII Yogyakarta. The method used in this final project is the observation, interview and study literature. Learning process for beginner level of Chinese language in CILACS UII Yogyakarta is using methods that are simple and varied such as games, songs and etc, so that students do not get bored easily during the course. Although there are obstacles encountered during the learning process, but CILACs UII is supported by experienced teachers and complete facilities, so that learning process can be successful and the results will be maximum. Other CILACS excellence is the teaching of the culture and history of China.
