Hotel Reosrt di Pantai Berok Anyer dengan Pendekatan Sense of Place

Destinasi Wisata di Banten yang menjadi favorit para wisatawan baik mancanegara ataupun domestik adalah Anyer, dimana Anyer merupakan kota kecamatan yang ada di ujung barat Banten, tepatnya berada pada Kabupaten Serang. Pantai merupakan destinasi wisata utama dari Anyer, kemudian diikuti dengan pertumbuhan hotel yang menjamur disana. Perkembangan Hotel yang banyak namun tidak berbanding lurus dengan pertumbuhan jumlah wisatawan menjadi suatu permasalahan serius. Hal ini disebabkan dengan konsep hotel-hotel yang ada belum bisa menarik perhatian para wisatawan untuk menginap disana. Hotel resort menjadi salah satu solusi terbaik dalam meningkatkan potensi wisata yang ada di Anyer, dengan catatan konsep yang digunakan unik dan dapat menarik perhatian para wisatawan. Konsep hotel resort dengan pendekatan Sense of Place, merupakan satu pendekatan yang berusaha untuk mengangkat keunikan tempat berdirinya hotel resort tersebut yang tujuan akhirnya adalah memberikan kenyamanan sense para wisatawan yang diwujudkan dalam place yang ditempati. Pendekatan ini memerlukan kejelian dalam mewujudkannya terutama pemilihan tempat dan keunikan yang ada pada lokasi, karena hal ini lah yang akan dijadikan fokus utama pengembangan. Anyer merupakan tempat unik yang sangat baik jika dikembangkan dengan pendekatan Sense of Place karena berbagai macam keunggulan dan potensinya yang ada.

Anyer, a small town located in Serang, 131 km away from the capital city of Indonesia, is people's favorite tourist destination for its beautiful beach. As a west facing beach, Anyer is perfect place to enjoy sunset and to have a view of Mount Rakata. Despite the beauty that Anyer offers, unfortunately there is a serious problem where the number of hotels and resorts are inversely proportional to the number of tourists. There are various type of hotels and resorts located in Anyer, from budget hotels to luxurious ones, yet the concept that they offer are still not appealing to attract more tourists to come. The whole new type of resort hotel is believed to be the best solution in order to have higher number of tourism in Anyer. Based on people's perception of their environments and how their feelings about the places, this new resort hotel is built with the concept of Sense of Place that would offer more unique staying experience. As a distinctive type of hotel, this specific resort hotel would focus on developing a suitable environment that would enhance visitor's relationship with the hotel's atmosphere. The distinctiveness of Sense of Place through this new resort hotel would be helpful to attract more tourists to come and enjoy the beauty of Anyer.
