ANALISIS TINDAK TUTUR DALAM DIALOG FILM ERNEST & CÉLESTINE

Dialog dalam film memiliki proses komunikasi dalam kehidupan sehari- hari yang berisi tuturan yang mengacu pada tindak tutur. Tindak tutur merupakan bagian dari analisis pragmatik yang mengkaji bahasa dari aspek penggunaannya. Penerapan tindak tutur dalam proses komunikasi dianggap penting untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada lawan tutur. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dialog tokoh dalam film Ernest & Celestine. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan tindak tutur yang terdapat dalam dialog film Ernest & Celestine. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori pragmatik yang berfokus pada teori tindak tutur yang dikemukakan oleh Austin dan Searle. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam dialog film Ernest & Celestine, terdapat tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi dan perlokusi. Berdasarkan jumlah dari hasil analisis dari ketiga jenis tindak tutur yang sudah ditemukan, jenis tindak tutur ilokusi terlihat berperan pada bagian awal dan tengah film yang ditunjukkan dengan banyaknya tuturan yang memiliki karakteristik tindak tutur ilokusi, seperti tuturan yang didukung oleh suatu tindakan tertentu. Kemudian tindak tutur perlokusi berperan pada bagian akhir film tersebut, ditunjukkan dengan banyaknya tuturan yang memiliki karakteristik tindak tutur perlokusi, seperti adanya efek yang dihasilkan dari tuturan tersebut.

Dialogues in a movie have a communication process in everyday life which contain utterance that refers to a speech act. Speech act is a part of pragmatic analysis that examines the language from the aspect of usage. Speech act applications are considered important in the communication process to deliver information to the interlocutor. The data used on this research are the dialogues in the Ernest & Celestine movie. This research aim to determine what kind of speech act used in Ernest & Celestine movie script and being analyzed with pragmatic theories in speech acts of Austin and Searle. The result of this research shows that Ernest & Celestine movie’s scripts consist of locutionary act, illocutionary act and perlocutionary act. Based on the number discovered from the analysis of the three acts, the illocutionary act mostly appears in the beginning and the middle of the movie showed by the number of utterances with illocutionary characteristics, such as the presence of utterances supported by certain acts. Furthermore, perlocutionary act appears mostly in the last part of the movie, indicated by the number of utterances with perlocutionary characteristics, such as the presence of effects caused by the utterances.
