Laporan tugas akhir ini menjelaskan tentang sistem reservasi MMBC yang digunakan oleh Duta Wisata Tour and Travel. Tugas Akhir ini membahas tentang sistem reservasi MMBC dan tata cara penggunaannya secara bertahap, ditambah analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) mengenai sistem reservasi MMBC beserta strategi-strateginya. Penulis memilih untuk membahas sistem reservasi MMBC dikarenakan sistem tersebut sudah banyak digunakan oleh biro perjalanan wisata karena kemudahan-kemudahan yang ditawarkan sistem reservasi MMBC. Penelitian Tugas Akhir ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dan wawancara. Dari teknik pengumpulan data tersebut penulis mendapatkan informasi yang detil dan lengkap yang didapat dari hasil observasi kegiatan operasional Duta Wisata Tour and Travel beserta wawancara secara langsung kepada staf perusahaan tersebut. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah fakta bahwa sistem reservasi MMBC merupakan sistem reservasi online yang mudah dan praktis untuk digunakan oleh biro perjalanan wisata dan didukung oleh pelayanan yang lengkap. Layanan yang ditawarkan sistem tersebut antara lain reservasi tiket pesawat domestik dan internasional, reservasi tiket kereta api, reservasi hotel, pemesanan bus & travel, rental mobil, umroh, pembayaran tagihan dan pembelian pulsa. Berdasarkan analisis SWOT terhadap sistem reservasi MMBC dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem reservasi tersebut memiliki kelebihan di kemudahan booking group dan kelengkapan pelayanan yang dimiliki, sedangkan kelemahan sistem tersebut terletak pada rendahnya komisi yang diberikan dari sistem kepada biro perjalanan wisata yang menggunakan sistem reservasi MMBC, di samping itu sistem reservasi MMBC sering melakukan maintenance tanpa adanya notifikasi terlebih dahulu. Peluang dari luar yang menguntungkan dari penggunaan sistem reservasi MMBC adalah meningkatnya jumlah wisatawan dari tahun ke tahun dan sebagian segmen pasar terutama dari kalangan yang belum terlalu mengerti teknologi masih cukup banyak yang masih mengandalkan travel agent konvensional untuk melakukan reservasi tiket. Ancaman dari luar yang dapat mengurangi keuntungan antara lain adalah adanya Online Travel Agent yang menawarkan harga tiket lebih murah dibandingkan travel agent konvensional serta lebih praktis untuk digunakan.

This study explains about MMBC reservation system that operated by Duta Wisata Tour and Travel. The study explaining about MMBC reservation system and how to use it step by step, with addition of SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) Analysis of MMBC reservation system and its strategies. The author decides to discuss MMBC reservation system because the system is operated by a lot of travel agencies because of ease of usage that offered by the MMBC reservation system. The research of this study is using descriptive method and the techniques used to collect the data are observation and interview methods. From the mentioned data collecting techniques, the author gaining detailed and complete informations gathered from the result of Duta Wisata Tour and Travel activity observation and direct interview with staff of the company. The results of this research are the fact that MMBC reservation system is an easy and practical online reservation system to be used by travel agencies supported by comprehensive service from the system. Services offered by the system are domestic and international flight ticket reservation, train ticket reservation, hotel reservation, bus & travel booking, car rental, umroh, bill payment and balance top up. Based from SWOT analysis of MMBC reservation system, can be concluded that the reservation system has advantages in easiness of group booking and comprehensive service, while the disadvantages are reside in low fee for given by the system for travel agencies that using MMBC reservation system, besides that the MMBC reservation system often performs maintenance without giving any notification to travel agencies that using their system. Opportunities that profitable from using the MMBC reservation system are incrasing number of tourists from year to year and partial segment of market especially from circle of people who doesn't recognize technology that still pretty much depending on conventional travel agencies to make a ticket reservation. Outside threats that could decrease the profit are the existence of Online Travel Agent that offers more affordable ticket and easier to use compared to conventional travel agent.
