Tugas Akhir dengan judul Pengelolaan Arsip Berkas Perkara Perdata di Pengadilan Tinggi Yogyakarta berisi mengenai pengelolaan arsip berkas perkara perdata yang sudah masuk pada masa inaktif, keberadaan arsip perkara perdata, sarana prasarana, pemeliharaan hingga keamanan arsip perkara perdata. Metode yang digunakan penulis untuk membuat laporan adalah studi pustaka dengan cara mencari teori dari berbagai sumber buku yang memiliki kesamaan fokus dengan judul, observasi partisipan adalah mengikuti secara langsung pengelolaan arsip berkas perkara perdata di lapangan dan wawancara dengan melakukan tanya jawab dengan narasumber yang sesuai dengan judul dan kebutuhan data penulis. Kesimpulan dari laporan tugas akhir ini adalah pengelolaan arsip berkas perkara yang dilakukan memiliki prosedur yang diterapkan dan sudah cukup bagus. Akan tetapi terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi seperti mengenai sumber daya manusia, sarana prasarana yang sudah tersedia kurang maksimal saat digunakan.

This report attempts to examine the managing of arsip berkas perkara perdata which are about to reach inactive period, the existence of arsip berkas perkara perdata, the infrastructure, the maintenance as well as the security of the records in Pengadilan Tinggi Yogyakarta. The first method used by the writer implicates library research, with which the writer find theories from various supportive materials and sources which contain similar focus. The second method involves participatory observation, in which the writer is involved directly durings arsip berkas perkara perdata managing process in the field. The third method is by conducting interview as well as short discussion with speakers who are strongly associated with the requirement of the data for this report. From the final findings of this report, it can be inferred that the managing of the arsip berkas perkara perdata in Pengadilan Tinggi Yogyakarta is rather well-executed since it has followed the right procedures. However, there are some obstacles in relation to the managing process, such as the lack of human resources and infrastructure. Many of the facilities and devices are unable to work properly.
