PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SURAT DALAM KEGIATAN MARI BERCERITA (Distribusi Informasi Sosial dan Budaya pada Interaksi melalui Media Surat)

Perkembangan teknologi yang terjadi saat ini berdampak pada pola komunikasi dan interaksi sosial anak-anak pada masa sekarang ini. Pada anak-anak di perkotaan yang secara ekonomi masuk dalam golongan keluarga sejahtera, kecanggihan teknologi sangat mempengaruhi pola interaksi tersebut. Banyak dari anak-anak pengguna teknologi tidak dibarengi dengan pendampingan ataupun aturan-aturan penggunaan yang diberikan oleh orang tua. Gejala seperti ini yang saya dapat dari pengamatan langsung, mereka cenderung menjadi individual. Lebih tertarik dengan permainan-permainan yang mengandalkan kecanggihan teknologi ataupun sosial media melalui dunia maya. Kegiatan tersebut cenderung akan menjadikan anak-anak tersebut tidak peka terhadap lingkungan. Metode Mari bercerita merupakan metode pembaharuan menuju ke perbaikan. Memperbaiki melalui rangsangan yang dijalankan melalui sebuah media alternatif berupa surat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana metode bercerita melalui surat melalui kegiatan Mari Bercerita sebagai solusi akan keresahan sosial pada pola dan content komunikasi pada anak. Peneliti berusaha mengungkap metode Mari Bercerita melalui respon dan partisipasi anak yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini sekaligus dampaknya dalam wujud alur, isi cerita dan unsur budaya dalam surat yang disampaikan yang berpengaruh terhadap interaksi pada anak. Penelitian ini secara teoritis mengandung manfaat, maka dengan mengakaji metode Mari Bercerita diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan tentang metode bercerita pada anak dengan menggunakan media surat. Penggunaan metode ini dapat dipakai oleh siapa saja tanpa batasan strata sosial, latar belakang lingkungan sosial dan ekonomi. Pada metode Mari Bercerita digunakan sebagai salah satu solusi dalam menyikapi keresahan sosial akan pola dan content komunikasi anak pada masyarakat modern saat ini, apabila metode ini teruji efektif dan baik untuk digunakan.

The technological development at the present time has an impact on patterns of communication and social interaction of children. For children in urban economically classified from prosperous families, the technological sophistication greatly influences the interaction patterns. Moreover, many of them are not accompanied by directives or rules of use given by the parents. Symptoms such as these that I have ever seen, they tend to be individual. They are more interested in games that rely on sophisticated technology or social media through cyberspace. These activities tend to make these children are not environmentally sensitive. Lets Tell a Story method is a method of reform toward improvement. It is fixing via stimuli that runs through an alternative media in the form of a letter. This thesis will view Lets Tell a Story through letter via the activity Let Storytelling as a solution will be social unrest on the pattern and content of communication in children. Furthermore, researcher examines Lets Tell a Story method in children of elementary school by using letter media. This study aimed to determine the extent of storytelling through the letter via the activity Lets Tell a Story as a solution will be social unrest on the pattern and content of communication in children. The researcher wastrying to uncover the Lets Tell a Story method through the response and participation of children involved in this activity which also impacts in the form of a groove, the story and cultural elements in the letter delivered that influence interactions in children. This study theoretically contains a benefit, therefore by reviewing the Lets Tell a Story method is expected to be a reference about storytelling in children using letter media. The use of this method can be used by anyone without restriction of social strata and the background of social and economic environment. The method Lets Tell a Story is used as one of the solutions in addressing the social unrest and will be the pattern and content of communication of children in today's modern society, if the method is proven effective and good to use.
