KONFLIK KERJA DALAM CERPEN QARI`U AL-MAMHIYYI DALAM ANTOLOGI CERPEN AS-SAHAH KARYA MUHAMMAD ASY-SYARIKH: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL ROBERT STANTON

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui unsur-unsur intrinsik cerpen Qari`u al-Mamhiyyi dalam antologi cerpen as-Sahah karya Muhammad Asy-Syarikh. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teori struktural dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode analisis struktural. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dibahas mencakup fakta cerita yang terdiri atas karakter, alur, dan latar, kemudian tema, serta sarana sastra yang terdiri atas judul dan sudut pandang. Penelitian ini juga membahas keterkaitan antarunsur tersebut. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tokoh utama dalam cerpen ini adalah Abu Suud, pemilik perusahaan kontraktor yang tidak menyukai urusan pribadinya dicampuri oleh orang lain terutama Dr. Fakhri pegawai profesional yang dituduh sebagai pembaca rahasia. Adapun tokoh tambahan dalam cerpen ini adalah Dr. Fakhri, Suud, Hendrik, istri Hendrik, sekretaris, dan delegasi Jerman. Cerpen ini menggunakan alur campuran. Latar tempat dalam cerpen ini adalah kantor perusahaan kontraktor nasional, ruang sekretaris, kamar hotel Hendrik, rumah atase perdagangan, dan di dalam mobil. Latar waktu dalam cerita adalah pagi hari, siang hari, malam hari, dan musim panas. Latar sosial dalam cerpen berhubungan dengan status sosial tokoh utama, yaitu berasal dari kalangan kelas masyarakat atas. Tema dalam cerpen ini adalah dunia kerja harus dikelola secara profesional. Sudut pandang yang digunakan dalam cerpen ini adalah sudut pandang orang ketiga-tidak terbatas. Unsur-unsur intrinsik dalam cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan antar satu dengan yang lain, yaitu tema dengan tokoh, tema dengan alur, tema dengan latar, tema dengan judul, tema dengan sudut pandang, alur dengan tokoh, dan judul dengan tokoh, sehingga membentuk makna yang utuh.

This study has a purpose to know the intrinsic elements of the short story Qariu al-Mamhiyyi in the anthology as-Sahah written by Muhammad asy-Syarikh. The theory used in this study is structural theory and the method used in this study is structural analysis method. The intrinsic elements that are discussed consist of the facts; characters and characterizations, plot and settings, the theme, and the literary devices which consists of title and point of view. This study also analyzes the relations among those elements. This study concludes that the main character of the short story is Abu Suud, the owner bussines of contractor who does not like his privacy interfered by other peoples, especially by Dr. Fakhri, a professional employee who was accused of being a secrets reader. Extra characters in this short story are Dr. Fakhri, Suud, Hendrik, Hendriks wife, secretary, and Jermans delegation. The plot in this story is blended plot. The setting of place in this short story are contractors office, secretarys room, Hendriks hotel room, attache trading house, and in the car. The setting of time that found in this short story are morning, afternoon, night, and summer. The social setting in this short story is related to status social of main character that high class origins. The theme in this short story is the world of work must be managed professionally. Point of view used in this short story is the third person-unlimitted. Intrinsic elements in this short story related to each others, theme with characters, theme with plot, theme with setting, theme with title, theme with point of view, plot with characters, and title with characters, thus together they form a whole meaning.
