Pandangan Dunia dalam Novel Puya ke Puya karya Faisal Oddang: Analisis Strukturalisme Genetik

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap pandangan dunia pengarang dalam novel Puya ke Puya. Puya ke Puya merupakan sebuah novel yang bercerita mengenai seorang hero problematik yang berjuang dalam dunianya yang terdegradasi di Toraja. Problematiknya sang hero ditunjukkan dari pertentangannya terhadap dua kubu besar di Toraja. Hadirnya hero problematik ini diduga sebagai sarana pengarang untuk menunjukkan keberpihakannya dan menyampaikan pandangan dunianya. Analisis novel ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan strukturalisme genetik Lucien Goldmann. Pandangan dunia menurut Goldmann merupakan mediasi antara struktur novel dengan struktur sosial. Goldmann mengukuhkan bahwa struktur novel berpusat pada relasi antartokoh dan tokoh dengan objek di sekelilingnya. Selain itu, kelompok sosial pengarang juga berpengaruh terhadap pandangan dunia yang dibawa pengarang dalam novel Puya ke Puya. Strukturalisme genetik menurut Goldmann menganggap karya sastra sebagai sebuah struktur. Akan tetapi, struktur itu bukanlah sesuatu yang statis, melainkan produk dari proses sejarah yang berlangsung terus menerus. Terdapat enam konsep dasar yang membangun teori strukturalisme genetik yaitu fakta kemanusiaan, subjek kolektif, strukturasi, pandangan dunia, pemahaman, dan penjelasan. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dialektik. Metode dialektik menurut Goldmann mengukuhkan perihal tidak pernah adanya titik awal yang secara mutlak sahih, tidak adanya persoalan yang secara final dan pasti terpecahkan. Oleh karena itu, dalam sudut pandang tersebut pikiran tidak pernah bergerak seperti garis lurus. Proses pencapaian pengetahuan dengan metode dialektik menjadi semacam gerak melingkar yang terus menerus, tanpa diketahui titik yang menjadi pangkal atau ujungnya. Analisis terhadap struktur novel Puya ke Puya menunjukkan keberpihakan pengarang kepada modernisme, kesederhanaan, kanaah, cinta alam, seks normal, humanisme, amanah, dan kejujuran. Elemen-elemen ini juga berhomolog dengan struktur sosial pembangun novel Puya ke Puya. Elemen-elemen ini merujuk kepada satu ideologi yang merupakan pandangan dunia pengarang, yakni humanisme religius. Ideologi humanisme religius juga tergambar dari kelompok sosial pengarang. Nilai-nilai religiusitas didapat pengarang dari kehidupan masa kecilnya di Bugis, sedangkan ideologi humanisme bersentuhan dengan pengarang saat ia aktif di beberapa komunitas semasa kuliahnya dan selama proses kreatifnya menulis Puya ke Puya.

This study aims to reveal the worldview of the author of the novel Puya ke Puya. Puya ke Puya is a novel that tells the story about a problematic hero who fought in a world that is degraded in Toraja. The problematic hero is shown on the opposition to two major camps in Toraja. The presence of problematic hero is suspected as the author means to show his hand and expressed his worldview. The analysis was conducted using the novel approach of genetic structuralism Lucien Goldmann. View of the world according to Goldmann is mediating between the structure of the novel with a social structure. Goldmann confirmed that the structure of the novel is centered on the relationships between characters and characters with the objects around him. In addition, social groups authors also affect the worldview that brought the author in the novel Puya ke Puya. Genetic structuralism according to Goldmann regard literature as a structure. However, the structure is not something static, but rather the product of a historical process that is ongoing. There are six basic concepts that build a theory of genetic structuralism, namely the fact of humanity, collective subject, structuration, worldview, understanding, and explanation. The method used in this study is the dialectical method. The dialectical method according to Goldmann never confirmed regarding their starting point is absolutely valid, no problems in the final and definitely solved. Therefore, in view of the mind never moves like a straight line. The process of achieving knowledge with the dialectical method into a kind of continuous circular motion, unknown point into the base or tip. Analysis of the structure of the novel Puya ke Puya authors shows partiality to modernism, simplicity, kanaah, love of nature, normal sex, humanism, trust, and honesty. These elements are also homologous with the social structure of the novel builders Puya ke Puya. These elements refer to an ideology which is the author's view of the world, namely the religious humanism. The ideology of religious humanism also envisaged social groups authors. The values obtained religiosity author of the life of his childhood in Bugis, whereas the ideology of humanism in contact with the author when he was active in several communities during lectures and during the process of creative writing Puya ke Puya.
