PEMBUATAN PROGRAM KONTROL UNLOAD MESIN CASTING GASOLINE 3 DI PT FEDERAL IZUMI MANUFACTURING

Unload merupakan salah satu bagian dari mesin casting Gasoline 3 yang bentuknya seperti lengan, unload berfungsi untuk mengambil piston yang baru selesai dicetak ke bak penampung sementara. Mesin casting Gasoline 3 sudah berumur ± 20 tahun dan dalam produksi piston yang dihasilkan tidak sesuai dengan standar yang ada, kemudian mesin casting Gasoline 3 dilakukan perbaikan secara menyeluruh (overhaul). Dalam proses overhaul mesin tidak mengalami kendala baik dari bagian penggerak dan program kontrol. Program kontrol mesin casting Gasoline 3 disediakan oleh perusahaan kecuali program kontrol penggerak unload, maka dibuatkan program kontrol penggerak unload dengan dua kondisi yaitu kondisi manual dan otomatis dengan menggunakan software CX-Programmer Omron, disamping membuat program penggerak unload, juga dilakukan penambahan program alarm yang berfungsi untuk menjaga mesin dan operator dari kecelakaan dan penambahan program indikator limit switch. Program penggerak unload mesin casting Gasoline 3 tidak mengalami kendala ketika dilakukan uji coba baik itu kondisi manual maupun otomatis, ketika kondisi unload berada pada posisi manual dan operator menggerakan unload tidak sesuai prosedur maka program alarm akan aktif dan membunyikan alarm, dan juga program indikator limit switch berfungsi dengan baik dimana kondisi dari limit switch unload dapat dipantau melalui layar NT.

Unload is one part of the casting piston Gasoline 3 machine is shaped like an arm, unload serve to take the piston after it casts from the machine to a temporary tank. Casting piston Gasoline 3 has been aged ± 20 years and piston produced is considered to be not up to standard, then casting piston Gasoline 3 machine carried out a thorough repair (overhaul). Overhaul machine have not problems in terms of both parts movement and control program. Casting Gasoline 3 machine control program has been supplied by the company except the movement control program unload, so made a movement control program unload with two conditions namely conditions of manual and auto usings Omron software’s CX-Programmer, besides making unload movement program, also conducted to adding unload alarm program that serves to keep the machine and safety operator from the accident and the adding of program indicators limit switches. Movement program unload casting piston Gasoline 3 machine at the time of the trial did not experience problems either manual or automatic condition, when conditions unload in the manual position and operator move the unload is not according procedure then alarm program will be active and sounds the alarm, and the program unload indicators limit switch is work correctly where condition of the unload limit switch can be monitored by screen NT.
