AN EXPLANATORY OF SYNOPSIS & THE WORK PROCESS OF SYNOPSIS MAKING IN ACQUISITION DIVISION IN KOMPAS TV

Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses kerja pembuat sinopsis pada Divisi Akuisisi di Kompas TV. Selain itu penjelasan tentang sinopsis akan dijelaskan secara terperinci. Pembuat sinopsis di Divisi Akuisisi dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi kriteria suatu program atau tayangan untuk nantinya dijual kepada stasiun televisi lain atau perusahaan produksi. Tugas akhir ini akan memberikan gambaran tentang proses kerja pembuat sinopsis dari tahap yang pertama yaitu pra aktivitas, proses aktivitas, dan yang terakhir pasca aktivitas. Metode studi yang digunakan dalam penulisan tugas akhir ini ialah dengan melakukan kegiatan studi kasus yang dilakukan selama 2 bulan yaitu yang berlangsung dari bulan Juni sampai July 2016. Penulis melakukan interaksi dan wawancara secara semi terstruktur terhadap responden pada saat melakukan kegiatan magang kepada Divisi Akuisisi di Kompas TV. Hal lain adalah dalam tugas akhir ini digunakan referensi sebagai dasar penulisan tugas akhir yaitu dengan mengambil kutipan dari buku, buku elektronik, maupun sumber yang berasal dari internet. Dalam pembuatan sinopsis juga diperlukan hal hal penting antara lain penulisan secara kreatif, dan tata bahasa agar dapat menjadi sebuah sinopsis yang baik, sehingga Divisi Akuisisi memiliki arsip sinopsis yang siap disatukan dengan program atau acara yang bersangkutan. Kegunaan dari pembuatan sinopsis di Kompas TV yaitu untuk melengkapi kelengkapan suati program atau acara, kemudian dijual secara utuh beserta sinopsisnya kepada stasiun televisi dan perusahaan rumah produksi.

This final project aims to determine the work process of synopsis maker in Acquisition Division at Kompas TV. Besides, an explanation of the synopsis will be described in detail. Synopsis maker in Acquisition Division needs to meet the criteria of a program or impressions for later to be sold to other television stations or production companies. This graduation paper will provide an overview of the work process of synopsis maker which the first stage is pre-activity, activities process, and the last is post activity. The method of study used in this graduation paper is case study made during the two-month internship that lasted from June to July 2016. The writer interacted and interviewed using semi-structured interview method with respondents at the time of internship in Acquisitions Division at Kompas TV. The other thing in this graduating paper is using references from outside sources, by citing from books, electronic books, as well as resources from the internet. In the making of synopsis it is also needed important matters such as creative writing, and grammar in order to make a good synopsis, so the Acquisition Division has an archive of synopsis compiled with the programs or shows. The use of synopsis in Kompas TV is to fulfill the completeness of program or show, then to be sold to television stations or other production house companies.
