NOVEL NORUWEI NO MORI KARYA HARUKI MURAKAMI: ANALISIS STRUKTUR PLOT ROBERT STANTON

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui struktur dan aspek estetis plot novel Noruwei no Mori karya Haruki Murakami. Pengetahuaan mengenai struktur dan aspek estetis plot berguna untuk meningkatkan apresiasi pembaca terhadap novel Noruwei no Mori. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Metode ini digunakan untuk menganalisis struktur dan aspek estetis plot novel Noruwei no Mori dengan cara mendeskripsikan strukturnya terlebih dahulu, kemudian mendeskripsikan aspek estetisnya. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori struktural Robert Stanton. Robert Stanton menekankan pentingnya aspek estetis dalam struktur sebuah karya sastra. Novel Noruwei no Mori terbagi menjadi dua bagian utama, yakni subplot dan naratif utama. Subplot beraspek estetis untuk mengedepankan sisi mimetis sekaligus menegaskan bahwa Noruwei no Mori hanya fiktif belaka. Dalam naratif utama, deskripsi identitas dan karakter tokoh, deskripsi latar, dan konflik-konflik ditampilkan dengan cara sedikit demi sedikit. Penampilan yang sedikit demi sedikit beraspek estetis untuk menciptakan suspense dan surprise. Plot Noruwei no Mori bersifat rekat dan plausible. Rekat dan plausible beraspek estetis untuk membuat Noruwei no Mori seperti kenyataan. Untuk menguatkan temanya, Noruwei no Mori menggunakan ironi dramatis (ironi plot).

This research has a purpose to understand structure and function of Noruwei no Mori's plot. Knowledge about structure and function of Noruwei no Mori's plot use to increase reader's appreciation. This research use a descriptive method. This method analysis of structureand function Noruwei no Mori's plot by getting describe it's structure, beforehand, then describe it's esthetic aspects. This research use structuralisme by Robert Stanton. Robert Stanton emphasize the importance of function in the structure of novel. Noruwei no Mori divided to two main part, this is subplot and main narrative. Subplot use to set out mimetic side and also to explain that the story just fictious. In main narrative, description of identity and personal character, description of setting, and conflicts appeared by phas in. Appearance by phas in use to create suspense and surprise. Plot of Noruwei no Mori has glue and plausible. Glue and plausible use to makes the story like fact. To corroborate it's main theme, Noruwei no Mori use dramatic irony (irony of plot).
