HUBUNGAN TIPE KEPRIBADIAN ANGGOTA TIM TERHADAP TINGKAT KESUKSESAN PROYEK

Tim terbentuk dari sekumpulan individu yang beragam dan saling bekerja sama untuk mencapai satu tujuan. Setiap individu memiliki karakter berbeda yang dipengaruhi oleh kepribadian masing-masing. Perbedaan ini dapat berpengaruh terhadap dinamika tim. Salah satu penerapan kerja tim terdapat pada proyek yang bersifat sementara dan berlangsung dalam jangka waktu yang terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan antara kepribadian anggota tim terhadap kesuksesan proyek. Sehingga dapat dirumuskan sebuah komposisi terbaik sebuah tim yang dapat meningkatkan kesuksesan proyek. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 tim proyek Perancangan dan Pengembangan Produk Teknik Industri UGM. Variabel dependen adalah tingkat kesuksesan proyek yang direpresentasikan dengan perolehan nilai proyek. Variabel independen terdiri dari tipe-tipe kepribadian berdasarkan Myers Briggs Type Indicator dan Parker Team Player Survey yang disusun menjadi beberapa skenario uji. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat korelasi yang signifikan dan positif pada variabel kepribadian Myers Briggs Type Indicator, yaitu extrovert-sensing, extrovert-sensing-perceiving, extrovert-sensing-judging, dan extrovert-sensing-feeling-judging. Sebaliknya, pada interaksi introvert-intuition-judging memberikan hasil korelasi yang negatif. Pada variabel kepribadian Parker Team Player Survey tidak diperoleh hasil yang signifikan dengan tingkat kesuksesan proyek. Komposisi terbaik tim yang dapat meningkatkan kesuksesan proyek belum dapat dibentuk melalui penelitian ini.

The team is made up of a collection of diverse individuals and work together to achieve one goal. Each individual has a different character which is influenced by the personality of each. These differences can affect the team dynamics. One implementation team working on the project are temporary and take place within a limited timeframe. This study aimed to explore the relationship between the personality of the team members to the project's success. So as to formulate a best composition of a team that can enhance the success of the project. Subjects were 20 project team Design and Product Development Industrial Engineering UGM. The dependent variable is the level of success of the project is represented by the acquisition value of the project. The independent variables consist of personality types based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Parker Team Player Survey is organized into several test scenarios. The results showed that there was a significant and positive correlation on personality variables Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the extrovert-sensing, extrovert-sensing-perceiving, extrovert-sensing-judging, and extrovert-sensing-feeling-judging. In contrast, the interaction of introvert-intuition-judging results were negative correlation. On the personality variables Parker Team Player Survey not obtained significant results with a success rate of projects. The composition of the team that can best enhance the success of the project can not be established through this study.
