PENGARUH SURFACE ACTING PADA KEMANGKIRAN DENGAN KOMITMEN AFEKTIF SEBAGAI VARIABEL PEMEDIASI DAN SURFACE ACTING SELF-EFFICACY SEBAGAI VARIABEL PEMODERASI: STUDI PADA SMP N 1 SRAGEN

Kemangkiran telah lama dianggap sebagai masalah yang signifikan pada organisasi. Meski demikian, masih sedikit yang meneliti hubungan antara surface acting dan kemangkiran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi pengaruh surface acting pada kemangkiran dengan komitmen afektif sebagai variabel pemediasi dan surface acting self-efficacy sebagai variabel pemoderasi. Data didapatkan dari sampel 59 guru SMP N 1 Sragen yang telah bekerja minimal selama satu tahun. Regresi linier berganda diaplikasikan untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa surface acting berpengaruh positif terhadap kemangkiran. Selain itu, variabel komitmen afektif mampu memediasi hubungan antara surface acting dan kemangkiran. Surface acting self-efficacy juga mampu memoderasi hubungan antara surface acting dan kemangkiran.

Absenteeism has long been regarded as a significant problem in the organization. However, few studies have examined the relationship between surface acting and absenteeism. This study aims to investigate the effects of surface acting on absenteeism with affective commitment as a mediating variable and surface acting self-efficacy as a moderating variable. Data were obtained from a field sample of 59 teachers of SMP N 1 Sragen that have worked at least one year. Multiple linear regression was applied to test proposed hypotheses of this study. Results from this study showed that surface acting positively associated with absenteeism. Furthermore, this results show that affective commitment mediated relationship between surface acting and absenteeism. Surface acting self-efficacy also moderated relationship between surface acting and absenteeism.
