Intisari Penulis mengangkat tesis ini dengan judul Dimensi Estetis Huruf Korea; Perspektif Teori Estetika Monroe Beardsley. Penelitian dengan menggunakan objek material huruf Korea telah banyak dilakukan oleh para peneliti bahasa. Akan tetapi, semua penelitian tersebut dikaji menggunakan teori-teori bahasa atau linguistik. Penulis merasa bahwa huruf Korea mungkin akan sedikit lebih menarik jika dikaji menggunakan teori dari ilmu yang lain. Penulis akhirnya memutuskan untuk memakai sebuah teori estetika milik seorang filsuf seni yang bernama Monroe Beardsley. Estetika yang merupakan salah satu cabang dari ilmu filsafat, dipandang oleh penulis mampu memberikan gambaran lain mengenai huruf Korea, namun pada akhir kesimpulan dalam tesis ini tetap memiliki kaitan dengan pengembangan ilmu bahasa, filsafat timur, dan filsafat seni. estetika. Abstract The author raised this thesis with the title about Dimensions of Aesthetic Korean Letters; Aesthetic Theories Perspective Monroe Beardsley. The Research of material object by using Korean letters has a lot done by researchers of language. However, all such research is examined using the theories of language or Linguistics. The author felt that Korea letter might be a little more interesting if it is examined using theory from the other sciences. The author finally decided to wear an aesthetic theory belongs to a philosopher of art named Monroe Beardsley. The aesthetic which is one of the branches of philosophy, viewed by the author is able to give you an idea about the letter, but in Korea the final conclusion in this thesis remain associated with the development of the science of language, Eastern philosophy, and the philosophy of art., and also aesthetics.
