EVALUASI MOBILE LEARNING BERDASARKAN ASPEK KESIAPAN PENGGUNA DALAM PROSES PEMBELAJARAN DI UNIVERSITAS

Perkembangan teknologi membawa tren terbaru dalam dunia e-Learning melalui pemanfaatan media portable atau mobile device seperti smartphone dan PC tablet. Universitas Gadjah Mada memiliki e-Learning mobile version untuk mempermudah pengguna mengakses pembelajaran menggunakan bantuan handphone. Kesuksesan penerapan mobile learning terkait erat dengan kesiapan dari pengguna itu sendiri. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi tingkat kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan eLisa mobile. Kesiapan diukur menggunakan adaptasi dari model Teory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Technology Readiness Index (TRI) dan Mobile Learning Readiness yang disesuaikan dengan objek penelitian. Data diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner ke 250 responden di Universitas Gadjah Mada. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SEM dengan smartPLS untuk melihat hubungan antar variabel. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Mobile Device Facilities mahasiswa memiliki prasyarat dasar untuk terlibat dalam pembelajaran Mobile Learning, Persentase yang tinggi pada kemampuan dasar respsonden menunjukkan bahwa responden memiliki skill readiness untuk menggunakan mobile learning, kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan eLisa mobile dipengaruhi oleh variabel optimism dan innovatif, dan skala tingkat kesiapan pengguna eLisa mobile berada dalam kategori siap namun masih membutuhkan sedikit peningkatan dalam pembelajaran online sehingga menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa siap untuk menggunakan eLisa mobile.

Technological developments bring forward the latest trends in the world of e-Learning through the use of portable media or mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs. Universitas Gadjah Mada has a mobile version of e-Learning which facilitates users access to learning with the help of mobile phones. Successful implementation of mobile learning is closely related to the readiness of the users themselves. The focus of this study is to evaluate the level of students readiness in using the eLisa mobile. The readiness is measured by using an adaptation of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Technology Readiness Index (TRI) and Mobile Learning Readiness models that were adapted to the research object. Data were obtained from questionnaires given to 250 respondents at Universitas Gadjah Mada. The data were analyzed by using SEM with smartPLS to see the relationship between variables. The results of this study indicate that the students mobile device facilities have basic prerequisites to engage in Mobile Learning, A high percentage on the basic ability of respondents indicated that they have skill readiness to use mobile learning, the readiness of students in using the eLisa mobile is influenced by optimism and innovative variables, and the readiness level scale of the eLisa mobile user is in the ready category but needs a few improvement, thus showing that the students are ready to use the eLisa mobile.
