UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN AZ-ZAIDAH DALAM ANTOLOGI CERPEN AS-SAHAH KARYA MUHAMMAD ASY-SYARIKH: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL

Penelitian ini membahas unsur-unsur intrinsik cerpen az-Zaidah dalam antologi cerpen As-Sahah Karya Muhammad Asy-Syarikh. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teori struktural. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dibahas mencakup fakta cerita yang terdiri atas karakter, alur, dan latar, kemudian tema, serta sarana sastra yang terdiri atas judul dan sudut pandang. Penelitian ini juga membahas keterkaitan antarunsur tersebut. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tokoh utama dalam cerpen ini adalah Suud, seorang ayah dari anak yang mengalami radang usus buntu dan harus menjalani operasi. Tokoh tambahan dalam cerpen ini adalah Rim, istri Suud, dokter Ahmad, dokter Mamduh, Abdullah, sekretaris Suud, perawat, dan dokter klinik. Cerpen ini menggunakan alur maju. Latar tempat dalam cerpen ini adalah kantor Suud, rumah Suud, rumah sakit an-Nur dan bagian yang ada di dalamnya, dan jalan menuju rumah sakit. Latar waktu dalam cerpen ini adalah malam hari hingga siang hari. Latar sosial dalam cerpen ini adalah anggapan bahwa lulusan luar negeri adalah orang yang paling pintar dan tahu semuanya. Tema dalam cerpen ini adalah penghargaan terhadap profesionalisme itu diperlukan untuk menghindari perselisihan. Sudut pandang yang digunakan dalam cerpen ini adalah sudut pandang orang ketiga-tidak terbatas. Unsur-unsur intrinsik dalam cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan antar satu dengan yang lain, yaitu tema dengan tokoh, tema dengan alur, tema dengan latar, tema dengan judul, tema dengan sudut pandang, alur dengan tokoh dan judul dengan tokoh, sehingga membentuk makna yang utuh.

This study discusses the intrinsic elements of the short story az-Zaidah in the anthology As-Sahah written by Muhammad Asy-Syarikh. The theory used in this study is structural theory. The intrinsic elements that are discussed consist of facts taken from the story; characters and characterizations, plot and settings, the theme, and the literary devices which consists of title and point of view. This study also analyzes the relations among those elements. This study concludes that the main character of the short story is Suud. He is a father of a child who suffers from inflamed appendix and she has to endure a surgical operation. Extra characters in this short story is Rim, Suuds wife, doctor Ahmad, doctor Mamduh, Abdullah, Suuds secretary, nurse, the clinics doctor. The plot in this story is forward plot. The setting of place in this short story is Suuds office, Suuds house, hospital an-Nur and part of the hospital, and the street that leads to the hospital. The setting of time in this short story is night until afternoon. The social setting in this short story is judgment that alumnus of overseas is smartest and know everything. The theme in this short story is appreciation for professionalismis needed to avoid disagreement. Point of view used in this short story is the third person-unlimited. Intrinsic elements in this short story related to each others, theme with characters, theme with plot, theme with setting, theme with title, theme with point of view, plot with characters, and title with characters, thus together they form a whole meaning.
