KECENDERUNGAN SCHIZOPHRENIA DALAM NARASI NOVEL ABSALOM, ABSALOM! KARYA WILLIAM FAULKNER: KAJIAN SKIZOANALISIS GILLES DELEUZE DAN FELLIX GUATTARI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat keterkaitan antara kejiwaan pengarang dengan penciptaan narasi salam sebuah novel. Karya sastra atau novel yang dipilih sebagai objek material dari thesis ini adalah novel karya William Faulkner yang berjudul Absalom, Absalom! Novel tersebut memiliki narasi yang rumit dengan jalan cerita yang tidak linear dengan banyaknya narator yang dihadirkan sebagai pengganti tokoh utama. Selanjutnya digunakan teori skizoanalisis milik Deluze dan Guattari sehingga didapatkan kecenderungan schizophrenia dalam narasi novel tersebut. Schizophrenia yang dimaknai sebagaimana Deleuze dan Guattari memahaminya yaitu sebagai sebuah terobosan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya kecenderungan schizophrenia yang merupakan sebuah terobosan yang ditawarkan Faulkner untuk keluar dari grand narasi sejarah dengan menikmati semua nama dalam sejarah sebagai ���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½aku.���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½

This research is aimed to understand the connectivity between writer���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½s psyche and the act of narrative creation within a novel. Literary work or novel which is chosen to be the material object in this research is a work from William Faulkner entitled Absalom, Absalom! This novel has complicated narrative style which story line is not linear; moreover there are too many narrators appeared in order to replace the main character. The theory of schizoanalysis will be applied to get the result that the novel has schizophrenia tendency in its narrative style. The word schizophrenia as it is explained by Deleuze and Guattari is a form of a breakthrough. By examining the narrative style it is concluded that the novel had schizophrenic tendency and Faulkner have offered his reader new way to free themselves from the binary opposition caused by the grand narrative in history.
