EVALUASI KINERJA PARKIR DI BADAN JALAN DI KOTA MAGELANG

Tetapi, fasilitas parkir on-street seperti ini tidak banyak dan ketidakadaannya fasilitas parkir seperti gedung parkir atau taman parkir pada kawasan-kawasan tertentu di Kota Magelang menyebabkan pengguna kendaraan bermotor lebih memilih untuk parkir di badan jalan (on-street). Penelitian ini membahas tentang efektifitas ruang parkir pada badan jalan (on-street) yang ada di Kota Magelang.Analisis dilakukan di sepanjang jalan di Kota Magelang yang memiliki fasilitas parkir on-street yang dikelola oleh Dinas Perhubungan Kota Magelang. Ruas jalan yang terdapat fasilitas parkir on-street dibagi menjadi 11 blok parkir dengan total 179 titik survei. Analisis yang dilakukan yaitu analisis durasi parkir, akumulasi parkir, tingkat pergantian parkir (turnover parking), dan indeks parkir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengendara kendaraan bermotor di Kota Magelang memarkirkan kendaraan mereka di satu tempat selama 30 menit sampai 45 menit. Tingkat pergantian kendaraan parkir (turnover) di 11 blok yang dianalisis mencapai 2 sampai 3 kendaraan menempati satu petak parkir. Nilai indeks parkir maksimum mencapai 265,37%. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh solusi untuk mengurangi jumlah parkir on-street di Kota Magelang yaitu dengan penataan lokasi parkir atau dapat dibuat taman parkir yang berada/disekitar pusat kota atau di lokasi-lokasi yang jumlah kendaraan parkir on-street yang banyak.
On-street parking facilities which is located in Magelang City, is permitted under control to avoiding traffic congestion. But this kind of parking facilities is and parking facilities such as, parking building or parking lot in certain area of Magelang City is unavailable, which leads to motorcycle drivers are prefer to park on street. In this study, on street parking effectivity in Magelang City was discussed. The analysis was conducted along the road in Magelang City where on street parking facilities were located which was managed by Department of Transportation in Magelang City. Roads which have on street parking facilities were divided into 11 blocks with 179 survey points. The analysis are consist of parking duration, parking accumulation, turnover parking rate, and parking index. The result showed motorcycle drivers parked their vehicle for 30-45 minutes at one place. Turnover rate analysis from 11 blocks, reached 2 to 3 vehicles for one parking plot. Maximum parking index is 265,37%. From this study, the solution to reduce number of on street parking in Magelang City is to arrange parking location or build parking lot that located in downtown or at location which vehicle parking on street number is high.
