PERENCANAAN AGREGAT PRODUK DI INDUSTRI BAKPIA JAPON BANTUL

Latar belakang penelitian ini untuk melihat perencanaan produksi secara optimal selama enam bulan kedepan menggunakan perencanaan agregat dengan menggunakan dua metode, yaitu level strategy, chase strategy dan mixed strategy. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meminimalkan biaya manufaktur dengan melakukan penyesuaian terhadap perencanaan ditingkat produksi, tenaga kerja dan persediaan serta beberapa variabel lain yang dapat dikendalikan sehingga perusahaan bisa memilih perencanaan produksi yang paling minim biayanya. Bentuk penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, objek penelitiannya yaitu bakpia. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah pembuatan rencana produksi peramalan (forecasting) dengan memadankan tingkat produksi sesuai permintaan, mengurangi atau menambah tenaga kerja sesuai permintaan, memfluktuasikan tingkat persediaan atau menggabungkan tingkat produksi dengan tingkat permintaan. Sehingga dari opsi-opsi tersebut peneliti bisa melakukan perencanaan mana yang akan direkomendasikan untuk perusahaan terutama yang paling minimum biayanya. Dari hasil analisa dan penelitian ini penulis menetapkan perencanaan agregat dengan chase strategi yang dipilih. Hal ini karena total biaya yang diperlukan sebesar Rp 158.140.000 lebih sedikit daripada biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk strategi level dengan total biaya sebesar Rp 167.833.500 serta mixed strategy dengan total biaya sebesar Rp 165.040.000.

The background of this research is to see production planning optimally for one year planning fore uses aggregate with three methods, namely the level of strategy, chase strategy and mixed strategy. The purpose of this research is to minimize the cost of manufacturing with adapt planning at the level of production labor and supplies as well as some other variable that can be controlled so the company can choose production planning the most minimum cost. This study using the form of quantitative methods, the object of his research that is a bakpia. The method of analysis the data used was making the production of forecasting plan by combining production level on demand, reduce or increase the labor on demand, fluctuations in the level of supplies or combine production level with the level of demand. So researchers can do the options of planning which would most especially to the company recommended minimum cost. The result of this research sets the author of the analysis and planning strategy chosen on aggregate with chase, because the cost of production required companies to the minimum. Total cost of the required Rp 158.14 million less than the cost needed for the strategy level with a total cost of Rp 167 833 500 and mixed strategy at a total cost of Rp 165.04 million
