INTISARI Penelitian ini mengambil objek material novel Kantring Genjer-Genjer karya Teguh Winarsho. Tiga pokok masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah struktur teks novel KGG, pandangan dunia yang diekspresikan, genesis sosial dan pengarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Strukturalisme Genetik yang dikembangkan oleh Lucien Goldmann. Teori ini membahas karya sastra sebagai struktur tematik yang berpusat pada relasi tokoh hero dengan tokoh lain serta relasi antara hero dengan dunia sekitarnya. Menurut teori ini, antara struktur karya sastra dengan struktur sosial dianggap memiliki hubungan, tetapi hubungan tersebut bukan bersifat langsung melainkan dimediasi oleh pandangan dunia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode dialektik. Metode ini bekerja dengan pemahaman bolak-balik antara pandangan dunia, struktur teks, dan latar beakang sosial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa struktur teks novel KGG berupa relasi tokoh hero dengan tokoh lain dan relasi tokoh hero dengan dunianya menunjukkan pandangan dunia yang ingin disampaikan pengarang. Pandangan dunia yang dimaksud adalah humanisme teosentris. Berdasarkan kajian latar belakang sosial diketahui bahwa novel KGG bukan hanya merupakan karya imajinatif pengarang semata, melainkan novel ini juga mempunyai hubungan erat dengan masyarakatnya. KGG merupakan satu bentuk respon terhadap kondisi sosial dan budaya masyarakatnya. Kata Kunci: Struktur, Strukturalisme Genetik, Humanisme Teosentris.  

ABSTRACT This study took a novel material object Kantring Genjer-Genjer created by Winarsho Teguh. Three principal issues examined in this study is KGG novel structure, world view expressed, social genesis and author. This research uses genetic structuralism theory developed by Lucien Goldmann. This theory discusses literature as a structure that centers on the relationship hero character with another character as well as the relationship between the hero with the surrounding world. According to this theory, the structure of literary works with the social structure is considered to have a relationship, but the relationship is not direct, but mediated by the worldview. The method used is the dialectical method. This method works by understanding back and forth between the world view, the structure of the text, and social structure. These results indicate that the structure of the text of the novel in the form of a relation KGG hero character with another character and relationship with his world hero figure shows a view of the world is to be conveyed authors. World view in question is theocentric humanism. Based on the study of the social background of the novel KGG known that not only the imaginative work of the author alone, but the novel also has a close relationship with the community.
