Laporan ini menjelaskan tentang alih media arsip audio visual di Badan Arsip dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Tujuan dari laporan ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses alih media arsip audio visual. Pelaksanaan alih media arsip audio visual berfungsi sebagai penyelamatan informasi, backup arsip dan untuk layanan kepada user. Metode pengumpulan data laporan dilakukan dengan tiga metode yaitu pertama metode observasi partisipasi dilakukan dengan cara pengamatan serta penulis terlibat secara langsung di lapangan. Metode kedua adalah metode wawancara, metode ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh tambahan informasi secara mendalam melalui sumber yang berkompeten dan menangani secara langsung. Metode ketiga adalah studi pustaka, metode ini dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan data yang berasal dari studi pustaka untuk memperkuat argumen penulis berdasarkan teori yang ada dengan literatur yang relevan dengan topik penulis. Kesimpulan dari laporan ini bahwa alih media arsip audio visual yang di laksanakan di Badan Arsip dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah bertujuan untuk penyelamatan isi informasi, back up arsip, serta layanan untuk user. Namun dalam melaksanakan alih media terdapat berbagai kendala, diantaranya yaitu banyak arsip yang sudah mulai berjamur sehingga tidak dapat di putar lagi dan sebagian peralatan untuk pelaksanaan alih media sudah mulai rusak.

This report describes about the digitalization of audio-visual archives in Badan Arsip dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah. The purpose is to understand the process of digitalization audio-visual archives. Implementation of digitalization audio-visual archives serve as information saving, back up the archives and service to users. The Method of data collection reports are performed with three methods: the first is method of participatory observation which is done by observation and the writers are involved directly in area. The second method is the interview method, the method is carried out to obtain additional information deeply through of competent source and handle directly. The third method is a literature study, this method is done by collecting data derived from the literature to strengthen the argument of the writers based on the theory with the relevant literature to the topic of the author. The conclusion of this report is that digitalization of audio visual archives have been implemented in Badan Arsip dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah aims to saving the content of information, back up the archive, and service to the user. However, in implementing of digitalization there are many obstacles, among there are many archives that started moldy so it cannot be played again and some equipment for digitalization has already damaged.
