Kondisi Masyarakat Palestina Pasca Berdirinya Tembok Pemisah Israel dalam Novel Masah Karya Hani As-Salimi: Analisis Sosiologi Sastra

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kondisi masyarakat Palestina pasca pembangunan tembok pemisah Israel dalam novel Masah karya Hani as-Salimi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori sosiologi sastra sedangkan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analitik. Teori sosiologi sastra adalah teori yang membahas keadaan masyarakat di dalam sebuah karya sastra dan hubungannya dengan kehidupan masyarakat di dunia nyata. Adapun metode deskriptif analitik adalah metode analisis dengan cara menguraikan fakta-fakta sekaligus menganalisisnya. Dari penelitian ini, diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut. Pertama, kondisi sosial masyarakat Palestina pasca berdirinya tembok pemisah Israel yang tergambar dalam novel Masah adalah mobilitas masyarakat Palestina semakin terbatas dan meningkatnya eskalasi konflik horizontal. Kedua, kondisi ekonomi masyarakat Palestina pasca berdirinya tembok pemisah Israel yang tergambar dalam novel Masah adalah perampasan tanah pertanian dan rusaknya kesuburan tanah serta kebijakan Access Restricted Area (ARA) Israel. Adapun bentuk perlawanan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Palestina untuk menolak berdirinya tembok pemisah Israel adalah dengan perjuangan fisik, aksi demonstrasi, dan juga seni mural di tembok pemisah. Perlawanan tersebut dilakukan oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat, bahkan oleh pemuda Palestina. Mereka mengorbankan diri dan kepentingan pribadi untuk mempertahankan dan memperjuangkan Palestina

This study aims to reveal the condition of Palestinian society after the construction of the Israeli separation wall in the novel Masah by Hani as-Salimi. The theory used in this study is the sociology of literature theory, while the analytical method used is the descriptive analytic method. The theory of sociology of literature is a theory that discusses the state of society in a literary work and its relationship to people's lives in the real world. The analytical descriptive method is an analytical method by describing the facts as well as analyzing them. The results of this study are as follows: First, the social condition of the Palestinian people after the establishment of the Israeli separation wall as depicted in the novel Masah is that the mobility of the Palestinian people is increasingly limited and the increasing of horizontal conflict escalation. Second, the economic condition of the Palestinian people after the establishment of the Israeli separation wall as depicted in the novel Masah is the expropriation of agricultural land and the destruction of soil fertility, as well as Israel's Access Restricted Area (ARA) policy. While the forms of resistance carried out by the Palestinian people to reject the establishment of the Israeli separation wall are physical resistance, demonstrations, and graffiti art on the separation wall. The resistance was carried out by all levels of society, even by young Palestinians. They sacrifice themselves and their personal interests to defend and fight for Palestine.
