Penerapan New Normal Pada Welcome Concert 2021 Di SMM Yogyakarta

Munculnya Covid-19 menimbulkan disrupsi terhadap penyelenggaraan agenda konser tahunan di SMK Negeri II Kasihan Bantul (SMM Yogyakarta) terutama Welcome Concert 2021, sehingga menyebabkan adanya permasalahan tentang perubahan bentuk konser. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perubahan bentuk Welcome Concert tahun 2021 pada masa new normal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, yang dilakukan pada Juli-Oktober 2021. Sebagai objek formal dalam penelitian ini adalah perubahan bentuk konser pada masa new normal, sedang objek materialnya adalah Welcome Concert 2021. Pengumpulan data ditempuh melalui langkah-langkah aktivitas terkait proses latihan, yaitu latihan mandiri (praktik instrumen mayor terbatas), latihan sectional, latihan gabungan, gladi bersih, rekaman, editing, dan proses tayang di YouTube Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Teori perubahan Kurt Lewin yang berisi 3 tahapan perubahan, yaitu mencairkan (unfreeze), pergerakan/perubahan (changing) dan membekukan kembali (refreeze). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Welcome Concert 2021 mengalami perubahan bentuk dari full daring menjadi konser virtual dalam bentuk rekaman yang disajikan tanpa dihadiri penonton secara langsung. Hasil rekaman tersebut kemudian ditayangkan melalui kanal YouTube SMM Yogyakarta. Konser tersebut berubah bentuk mengingat situasi dan kondisi tidak memungkinkan untuk dilakukan secara langsung. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat dilakukan sebagai penggantinya adalah melakukan perekaman audio visual, kemudian ditayangkan melalui kanal YouTube. Konser virtual pada masa new normal ini memiliki kelebihan bila dibandingkan dengan konser virtual sebelumnya, terutama pada conductor yang dapat berperan maksimal dan dipertemukan langsung dengan pemain, sehingga keduanya dapat bersinergi. Di sisi lain, jika terdapat kesalahan dan kekurangan pada waktu proses perekaman dapat diulang dan diperbaiki. Dengan demikian proses perekaman ini dapat memberikan hasil maksimal. Dari perspektif audiens, Welcome Concert 2021 dipandang lebih fleksibel karena dapat diakses melalui kanal YouTube kapanpun dan di manapun.

The emergence of Covid-19 caused a disruption to hold the annual concert agenda at SMK Negeri II Kasihan Bantul (SMM Yogyakarta), especially Welcome Concert 2021, thus causing problems about changing the form of the concert. This study aims to describe the changes in the shape of the Welcome Concert in 2021 during the new normal period. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, which was carried out in July-October 2021. As a formal object in this study, the change in the shape of the concert during the new normal period, while the material object was the Welcome Concert 2021. Data collection was carried out through related activity steps. the practice process, namely independent practice (limited major instrument practice), sectional exercises, joint exercises, rehearsals, recording, editing, and the process of showing on YouTube Data analysis used Kurt Lewin's Theory about change theory, which contains 3 stages of change, there are: unfreeze, changing and refreeze. The result of this research showed that Welcome Concert 2021 was change from a full online concert to a virtual concert in a recording form that was presented without the audience directly. The recording was then broadcast on the SMM Yogyakarta YouTube channel. The concert form changed because of the situation and conditions did not allow it to be performed directly. One alternative that can be done as a substitute is record the audio visuals, then broadcast them through the YouTube channel. Virtual concerts in this new normal period have advantages compared to previous virtual concerts, especially in conductors who can play a maximum role and are met directly with players, so that the two can synergize. In the other hand, if there are errors and omissions during the recording process, it can be repeated and corrected. Therefore, recording process can provide the best results. From the audience's perspective, Welcome Concert 2021 can be seen flexible because it can be accessed through the YouTube channel anytime and anywhere.
