As a generation that was primarily born in the 21st century, the Z generation is the latest generation that is slowly entering the workforce. In this era of globalization and modernization, there are still various cases of unethical and illegal practices in a lot of form; in which the Z generation will most likely be caught inside or between the situations. As a generation that is known for their transparency, flexibility, and revolution in the workforce, they hypothetically have more tendency to conduct an act of whistleblowing upon witnessing or in a situation of a misconduct or fraud. It has been discovered in prior research a relationship between the whistleblowing intention and their individual and situational factors, that can be either persuading or averting their whistleblowing intention. Accordingly, this research aims to analyze the influences between moral reasoning, retaliation, and the bystander effect towards whistleblowing intention on the Z generation in Java Island that have entered the workforce. The outputs of this research present that moral reasoning influences whistleblowing intention positively on the Z generation; retaliation influences whistleblowing intention negatively on the Z generation; and the bystander effect influences whistleblowing intention negatively on the Z generation.
