Kelekatan sebagai Mediator antara Konflik Peran yang Dialami oleh Ibu Bekerja dan Regulasi Emosi Anak Usia Prasekolah di Makassar

Perkembangan regulasi emosi anak tidak terlepas dari peran orangtua. Namun, bagi orangtua yang bekerja terutama ibu seringkali mengalami konflik yang berkaitan dengan peran sebagai pekerja dan ibu rumah tangga. Konflik peran yang dialami ibu yang bekerja akan berpengaruh pada proses untuk membangun kelekatan terhadap anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empirik kelekatan sebagai mediator atas pengaruh konflik peran ibu terhadap regulasi emosi anak usia prasekolah. Subjek penelitian ini (N=73) ibu yang memiliki peran ganda, yaitu berperan sebagai wanita karir sekaligus merawat anak usia prasekolah pada keluarga berpenghasilan ganda. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat ukur berupa skala. Pemilihan responden menggunakan purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan work family conflict scale, emotion regulation checklist (ERC), dan child-parent relationship scale (CPRS). Selanjutnya, analisis data menggunakan analisis berganda dengan model mediasi melalui PROCESS. Dari hasil analisis, diperoleh skor B = -1,057; 95% (CI= -0,497 sampai -1,692). Kesimpulannya adalah kelekatan berfungsi sebagai mediator atas pengaruh konflik peran kedua orangtua bekerja terhadap regulasi emosi anak usia prasekolah.

The children' emotion regulation development can not be separated from the role of parents. However, working parents specially mothers' often experience conflict related to the role conflict as workers and housewives. Role conflict experienced by working parents will affect the process of building attachment to children'. This study aims to empirically examine the attachment as mediator toward the effect of parental role conflict on the emotional regulation of preschool. A sample of this study (N=73) focused on mothers' between the age 23-50 years old living in Makassar and having dual roles as career woman with preschool children' in dual-earner families. This research is a quantitative research and using Likert scale as instrument. The researcher used purposive sampling to obtain the sample. In collecting the data, the researcher used work family conflict scale, emotion regulation checklist (ERC), and child-parent relationship scale (CPRS). The data analysis using multiple analysis with mediation model through PROCESS. The results of analysis obtained B = -1,057; 95% (CI= -0,497 to -1,692). The conclusion is that attachment functionate as a mediator toward the effect of parental role conflict of dual-earner families on the preschool children emotional regulation.
