Implikasi Filsafat Pendidikan Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas Terhadap Kurikulum Pendidikan Madrasah Tsanawiyah Daarul 'Ulum 2 Sinar Melati Sleman

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Implikasi Filsafat Pendidikan Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas terhadap landasan pendidikan, kurikulum, persoalan guru maupun siswa yang meliputi spiritual-intelektual maupun moral serta sarana dan prasana penunjang pendidikan Kurikulum Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Daarul 'Ulum 2 Sinar Melati Sleman. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian literatur atau kepustakaan (library research) yang bercorak kualitatif deskriptif analisis kritis. Objek material dalam penelitian ini adalah konsep kurikulum pendidikan MTs Daarul 'Ulum 2 Sinar Melati. Sementara objek formal dalam penelitian ini adalah filsafat pendidikan Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode hermeneutika, meliputi deskripsi, interpretasi, koherensi intern, dan disertai refleksi kritis dari peneliti. Peneliti juga menggunakan metode heuristika, digunakan untuk menemukan hal-hal baru yang terkait dengan pemikiran Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas khususnya tentang pendidikan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui pendekatan filsafat pendidikan Al-Attas memberikan beberapa implikasi terhadap kurikulum MTs. Pertama, landasan pendidikan MTs didasarkan pada konsep adab sebagai kunci transformasi. Kedua, mata pelajaran maupun ilmu secara umum dibangun berdasarkan hierarki ilmu. Ketiga, membangun otoritas guru sebagai pendidik sekaligus role model dan refungsionalisasi perpustakaan, serta perbaikan pelbagai sarana penunjang pendidikan.

This study aims to analyze the implications of Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas' Philosophy of Education on the basis of education, curriculum, teacher and student issues which include spiritual-intellectual and moral as well as supporting facilities and infrastructure for the education of the Curriculum of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Daarul 'Ulum 2 Sinar Melati Sleman. This research is a type of literature research or library research with a qualitative descriptive critical analysis. The material object in this research was the concept of the education curriculum of MTs Daarul 'Ulum 2 Sinar Melati. While the formal object of this research was the educational philosophy of Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas. The method applied was the hermeneutic method, includes description, interpretation, internal coherence, and was accompanied by critical reflection from the researcher. Researchers also used the heuristic method, used to find new things related to the thoughts of Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas, especially those related to education. The findings of this study indicated that the educational philosophy approach Al-Attas provided several implications for the MTs curriculum. First, the foundation of MTs education was based on the concept of adab as the key to transformation. Second, subjects and knowledge in general were constructed based on a hierarchy of knowledge. Third, the authority of teachers was established as educators as well as role models and the re-functionalization of libraries, as well as the improvement of various educational support facilities.
