ANALISIS EVALUASI PORTOFOLIO BISNIS PADA PERUMDA ANEKA USAHA KABUPATEN JEPARA DENGAN PENDEKATAN PARENTING FIT DAN BCG MATRIX

Pengelolaan portofolio bisnis suatu perusahaan idealnya dapat menciptakan nilai yang lebih besar dengan adanya sinergi antar unit bisnis dibanding jika unit-unit bisnis dalam portofolio tersebut beroperasi secara terpisah Diperlukan peran pengasuhan dalam mengelola unit-unit bisnis yang memungkinkan tercapainya potensi penciptaan nilai melalui sinergi yang positif. Kesesuaian pengasuhan kantor pusat terhadap unit bisnis mencakup tiga hal, yaitu faktor-faktor sukses kritis, peluang pengasuhan dan karakteristik pengasuhan. Ketiga variabel di atas kemudian digunakan sebagai dasar pemetaan kategori unit bisnis berdasarkan tingkat kesesuaiannya dengan kantor pusat dalam parenting fit matrix yang berimplikasi pada strategi korporat yang beragam. Ada pula alat analisis lain yaitu BCG Matrix yang memberikan penilaian atas pangsa pasar relatif dan pertumbuhan industri. Penilaian tersebut dapat menjadi dasar pertimbangan untuk mengalokasikan sumber daya maupun dana sesuai kondisi dari tiap-tiap unit bisnis guna mempertahankan atau memperbaiki posisinya. Perumda Aneka Usaha Kabupaten Jepara merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang menjalankan pengelolaan portofolio bisnis lintas industri. Berdasarkan analisis parenting fit matrix, diketahui bahwa perusahaan ini memiliki satu unit bisnis dalam kategori heartland yang menunjukkan tingkat kesesuaian pengasuhan dan potensi penciptaan nilai yang tinggi. Namun di sisi lain, terdapat tiga unit dalam kategori edge of heartland, yaitu Unit Perumda Printing, Unit ESDM dan Unit Agro. Unit bisnis pada kategori ini memerlukan upaya penyesuaian agar ini dapat memperbaiki posisi menuju posisi heartland. Analisis BCG Matrix menunjukkan bahwa terdapat satu unit bisnis yang menempati kategori cash cow yaitu Unit Perumda Printing, sementara tiga unit lainnya menempati kategori dogs. Meskipun begitu, pihak manajemen secara umum masih optimistis dengan tingkat pertumbuhan yang akan membaik seiring berakhirnya pandemi Covid-19.

Ideally, a company's portfolio management can create greater value with synergies between business units than if the units in the portfolio operate separately if the nurturing role in managing business units allows the potential to be created through positive synergies. The suitability of head office care for business units includes three things, namely critical success factors, caregiver opportunities and parenting characteristics. The third variable is then used as the basis for mapping the categories of business units based on their level of adjustment to the head office in the parenting fit matrix, which has implications for various corporate strategies. There is also another analytical tool BCG Matrix which rates the industry over relative market and growth. This assessment can be used as a basis for consideration for allocating resources and funds according to the conditions of each business unit in order to maintain or improve the position. Perumda Aneka Usaha Kabupaten Jepara is one of the companies that run cross-industry business portfolio management. Based on the parenting fit matrix analysis, it is known that this company has one business unit in the heartland category which shows a high level of adjustment and potential for value creation. But on the other hand, there are three units in the edge of heartland category, namely the Perumda Printing Unit, the ESDM Unit and the Agro Unit. Business units in this category require adjustment efforts so that this can improve their position towards the heart position. BCG Matrix analysis shows that there is one business unit that occupies the dairy cattle category, namely the Perumda Printing Unit, while the other three units are in the dog category. Nevertheless, the management in general is still optimistic that the growth rate will improve following the end of the Covid-19 pandemic.
